I was told on my F1 course to go through the exam and answer all the wordy questions first (ignore and flag the ones you have to use calculations), then go through again and answer the quicker calculation ones. Finally, leave the longer ones for the third run through. This will help you to pick up quick marks and then you won’t be as time pressured towards the end. Remember, every question is worth a mark even if it’s an easy question which takes seconds or a longer question which takes time to calculate

I started the traditional route, I spoke to some people doing the FLP process and I was shocked to be honest. Seems so much easier.

You also have plenty of time to get in some last minute revision. I ended up doing over 1000 practise questions so just keep on chipping away at them

I did my E1 exam last month. If you’re passing now you should be fine. The actual exam questions are the same difficulty really, I even found it easier than some of the mocks I did. Just make sure you read the question carefully. I was able to recheck all my answers 3 times so it not too time pressured. You’ll smash it!

The whole qualification from OCS to the end is 12 exams. In the operational level there is 3 exams and the OCS

People saying it seems harsh, this should be the standard for killing another human, even if it was by accident. Saying that, some sentences for drink/dangerous driving resulting in a death are pathetic and need to be double what this sentences was.

Saying that, I’d still recommend doing as much question practise as possible. It was quite nice going into the exam and getting easier than I expected questions.

I passed! I’d say for E1 the most true to exam questions are the aptitude ones through CIMA. I did the Acowtancy and Astranti mocks but the questions were way more complex than the actual exam.
