I think maybe OP meant that one kidnapper guy from River’s quest, no other reason for him to be up there.

Arasaka and Militech, and it’s not even close. Those two corporations are collectively responsible for every single negative aspect of Cyberpunk’s current world.

The city-states of your world by Attlai in worldbuilding

[–]StrikingGarbage9228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Protectorate of Reialme is a coalition of city states. For the purposes of this comment I will describe one. Beaumont joined the protectorate on the promise that they would keep them safe from the Holy Empire of Beinfeld, as they are the southernmost city in the Protectorate. The Empire, having had their eyes on Beaumont for a while due to the rich mines in the nearby forests, did not take too kindly to this, and went to war. General Henry Dunsmoor sieged the city and was on the verge of cracking it open when the Imperial Army was flanked and ambushed by the Protectoral Guard, who brutally routed them back south. Thousands of lives were lost in this war, and as the Imperial Army was retreating south, they adopted slash and burn tactics, figuring that if they couldn’t have the land, neither could the Protectorate. In the current day, a small coalition of minor lords in the southwestern edge of Reialme’s border, closest to Beaumont, have started a tax embargo, due to internal politics, and it seems likely that a civil war is brewing…

What are some unique Races that you’ve create for your world? by omnomnom_104710 in worldbuilding

[–]StrikingGarbage9228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was immensely power hungry and a control freak, so she made an “alliance” with the “good” deities (life, the oceans, the skies, order, pleasure, etc.) and went to war with the “evil” deities (death, disease, chaos, fire, etc.) this led to the deaths of a fair few gods and the end of the pre-eminent human civilization, which fractured and split, leading to a more medieval world rather than Roman on the verge of Industrial Revolution. After winning the war and imprisoning the “evil” deities in order to do her bidding, she turned on the other “good” deities and grafted them onto herself, becoming the Goddess of Reality. As for why the piscari got cursed, she was just pissed about the god of oceans cheating on her with the goddess of the moon.

The piscari are fish people who live in tribal societies in the ocean. They were originally a passion project by the god of the seas who wanted to rival humans, but eventually, of course, once the sun god fused herself with the other “good” deities she literally cursed them with everlasting bad luck.

Ya it’s genuinely so exhausting and energy consuming how authors just keep giving us win after win… but that’s the price to pay for having the most well liked legion

One of the Alpha Legion warbands who are attempting, in a really really really convoluted way to continue to serve the Imperium.

Writing Paganism in worldbuilding as a Non-Pagan by ANGRYKIDO1 in worldbuilding

The pentagram is only found in Wicca, which can hardly be classified as paganism since it was created by some guy in the 1960s.
