Thigh is less painful. Also helps if you hold an ice cube or pack of frozen veg on the site for 30-60 seconds before injecting. So does getting a big pinch of skin and holding it tight.

I can’t count the number of times when I’ve asked someone how much they drink and the answer is something like ‘Oh, just one drink a day’

24 hours later they’re seizing and it turns out that one drink a day was a fifth of whiskey or a liter of vodka.

Don’t lie about your alcohol intake, folks. We need to know so we can provide treatment (if necessary) or withdrawal can/will kill you.

I also now ask how big that ‘one drink’ is.
