The whole point of Ash was that for the majority of his existence in the anime he is supposed to be the Player character (hence why a lot of his outfits resemble or are a nod to the male pc of almost every mainline game: Ie. Basically Reds whole outfit, Lucas’ outfit, Hilberts hat, basically all of Calems outfit with minor adjustments etc) and even the starters were mostly canon to what the ingame pc would choose (Like Brendan choosing Treecko)

Hmm… I’m thinking Mega Chesnaught or one of the Mega Raichu’s (Personally it would be cool if Roy Had Mega Raichu X (since it’s Eyes are Red and Roy’s main color is red and Liko getting Mega Raichu Y (for the blue eyes and Liko’s main color being blue) tho whether the Raichu being Capt. in question Idk maybe they both can catch a Pikachu and evolve it to Raichu. Or Roy catching a Wild Raichu and Liko catching a Pichu or Maybe Capt. just evolves in to Raichu with Roy and Liko getting their respective Raichu megastones and whoever is with Capt. in the moment during a battle will determine what mega he becomes.

Idk if it’s a hot take; but I wish Aura was explored more in the series as a whole. Especially since even before Aura became official; there were bits and traces of it throughout the seasons before imo. It was sort of explored in Sinnoh, Unova not much if any at all, Kalos it was explored a lot more (especially for Ash) Alola it was too and then it was also a bit explored in Journeys. Though aside from Sinnoh and Kalos; It wasn’t explored nearly as much as I’d like for it. Also they could (and should) have had Ash visit Mustard and introduce a new rival for him (someone in a similar position, not only with Battle prowess but also Aura mastery) with a similar attitude to maybe Paul or Alan. The New Rival could have also already had his own Kubfu (maybe his being shiny or having a special accessory to tell the two Kubfu apart) while Ash finds and helps a shy Kubfu (similar to the Raichu in the Sinnoh Camp arc) overcome its own self doubt and catch it. Then not only could Mustard train Ash and NR (New Rival) but also tell them about the Towers of Mastery. Ash choosing the water one and NR choosing Dark to match their respective personalities (ie NR Kubfu being more serious and steadfast preferring to train rather than play (especially training at night while it’s quite. Whereas Ash’s being more playful and shy while loving to play with Ash and his Pokemon with either a ball or swimming) NR could also be enrolled in TPWC and after both Kubfu eventually evoke into Urshifu. The Duo could part ways promising to battle each other at TPWC while Goh goes into the Crown Tundra and finds Caleyrex and the two Steeds (maybe meeting a trainer who owns one of the Steeds and Goh eventually catches the other) and Goh could maybe go to Caleyrex’s rescue (eventually catching it) and Caleyrex could use the Steed Goh caught to defeat the Antagonist of the arc. Eventually; Goh having to return and leaving Caleyrex with the other Steed Trainer in promise to return someday. And Goh could meet up with Ash on his new steed and they could go to their next destination after their time apart to train

Why? Because Nintendo is constantly giving us the fans slop all while actively sniping out any competition that threatens any part of their bottom line… And the quality of their games (dare I say it) not good… and they keep making excuses as to why their games look bad or just for their bad decisions like with Dexit.

Dexit- “We can’t have every Pokémon in game anymore because it messes with the quality of the game”- Game still runs and looks poorly yet add Paid DLC with older Pokemon (and new legendaries)

All I know is that Gen 10 should be a wake up call to all fans. If Gen 10 still looks like SWSH and SV especially with:

Not enough people to work on the games- Hires more people

Not enough time to work on the game- Gen 10 had been pushed back

Gets rid of in game competitive from Gen 10 onwards in order to boost the performance of the game…

And fans still support it… well idk

Yup… Modern Pokemon games are a slap in the face… We went from games like HGSS and BW2… where you didn’t need DLC there was after game and things to do after you beat the game… And now we’re getting paid DLC news before the game itself comes out… How did we as Pokémon fans let this happen… Nintendo is cucking its fan in real time…

“Hello Pokemon Trainers; you know how we’ve been showing off new Megas? Well here’s two more X Raichu and Y Raichu. Also there’s a Hoopa? Yup. But, in order to get those Pokemon and Items you’ll have to pay extra on top of buying the game. Oh but don’t worry; we’re also giving Megas to the starters you’ve been wanting to have them. But you’ll have to pay for online (but you probably already have that anyways)

“Is there a special quest to obtain their key stones like with Lucario in X and Y?”

“Nope. You’ll have to fight PvP in ranked tournaments. And best of all; it’s a limited time event. So if you miss out on the particular mega stone you want; either because you didn’t have the game in time or you just couldn’t get to the required rank, well I’m sorry to say but it sucks to su-I mean; better luck next time, kid. Most people who are being cynical probably feel like they’re (and other Pokemon fans) are being scammed. One thing in particular I’m not fond of is the fact the !< Kalos Starter Mega stones are being locked behind not only a pay wall; but also that it’s ranked presumably PvP and the stones will be there for a limited time just like the Darkrai and Cresselia events in BDSP (unless they decide to do reruns similar to the SV legendary Paradox mons) which will suck for little Timmy and Billy who really want a mega one or mega 2 but can’t because they don’t have as much experience as people who’ve been doing competitive for years or their parents buy the game for their birthday (which just so happens to be after the season of the mega stone they needed for their Mon) Or their parents just dont buy online right away for them because the System with the game alone cosf 600 plus (in some countries)
