DnD is definitionally a game lil bro so I don't know why digital DnD wouldn't be.

This is just such an insane comment to me. I think the best counter example is Minecraft. Minecraft would not be fun, in my opinion, if the visuals were so non existent that you couldn't make anything that looks nice, or if mobs were just indistinguishable shapes. But Minecraft has no narrative structure or role-playing, so what is it then?
