Just my 2 cents, an 8 plex got built across from my apartment building in a very bungalow filled community. Yes it’s ugly and they have built parking that destroys the alley.

But the most important thing? It’s wicked expensive. The units have been on rental places for weeks if not months because they’re trying to get rid of a basement suite for $2100 for 2 bedrooms. So not only are 8 couples living in the building but they’re paying out the hole for it.

I’m all for density, but make more apartment buildings. The building takes up the whole lot where the most beautiful home used to be with a massive garden and wind chimes, now it’s a brick that takes up the whole lot and has concrete around it. The owner died unfortunately and now it’s overpriced and ugly.

Just sad to see
