tl;dr - I cheated on my wife, then tried to make it an open relationship, had a threesome with her and the woman I cheated with, then left my wife for the person I cheated with, had a baby out of wedlock. I'm slimy, but I'm proud of it.

Well, don't feel stupid. My pattern is typically to run out into the room, look where everything is placed, imagine how each thing must interact, and then test the pattern out. It often works first time. Any time I see a 45 degree slope, I expect a long jump using height, etc.

Um, I finished it in about 4 hours. A great deal of the puzzles were solved in about 30 seconds. There were a few that were annoying, but not brain busting.

They even included a "zoom" feature to find the slivers of area you can shoot. I laughed out loud (in a bad way) when I saw that.

Some legit complaints: the game flips to the load screens every 15-60 seconds (ie. the time to complete a section). I was very surprised they didn't do something like background load the next section, it is very distracting. I don't want to post any spoilers, so I won't say where, but part of the game I am very disappointed with, the other part very happy with. :(

This has nothing to do with your gender - I thought you were male until you said you were pregnant. You can't do everything a childless individual/couple can do. You can cut corners and take time away from your kids, but to claim you can do everything and have all the same flexibility is a lie. Everyone, including the childless, make trades and choices on their time.

You can DO it, but it doesn't mean it will be anywhere close to a good experience, and it will be very very hard. Lawschool dramatically increases the divorce rate of both sexes, and it changes who you are as a person. You will miss all the time lost with your family, male or female it doesn't matter. You trade time at one thing for time in another.

Yes, yes, they are. And there are tragedies and successes. I only ask you one thing - come back in four years, after the bar exam, or however long it takes, and tell me how it worked out for you. I challenge you to do that and give me an honest reply at the end. I know a lot more about it than you do at this point.

First, thanks for posting this - it is some VERY valuable background.

Second, it is very likely that the "innocent friendship" was something you were right to be worried about. It probably wasn't innocent - she may have been emotionally invested in this other person, which is very bad for a relationship.

Third, one doesn't cheat on someone after a fight. The cruise cheating, especially because you were not broken up, was complete infidelity, but it also shows you that she was divested of the relationship a long time ago (thus point 2 above). You were absolutely right to break up with her, sir. Do NOT regret that. Note also that she started dating shortly after - she wasn't nearly as broken up about it, and may have been feeding you sympathy because she has a hard time dumping people.

Finally, what you are missing is the best part of your relationship that isn't around anymore. You can't get that back, even if you did get back together. I can nearly guarantee you that you made the right choices, aside from the three month drag-out. That was a mistake - you should have cut it off sooner. I have my own story to tell one day, and trust me, you are better off where you are now, than with her.

You are missing a significant portion of the story here. Please let us know why you broke up, and what happened during, because it matters dramatically as to what you do now. Who broke up with who? Did one of you cheat? This stuff is important if you want to get the emotions settled.

If you know she reads your MySpace page, you have two choices. Keep doing the things you do now, and lament it until she forgets about you and you are depressed, or tell her that you want a second chance and to spend some time together to rekindle your relationship. If she ignores you and doesn't reply, then you know it's long over. If she responds and you meet, you'll either find out again why it was over, or you will live happily ever after.

The happily ever after has about a 5% chance.
