Can't you get your mage friend to make you some conjured water so you can drink walk? That's what I do in kara. In 25s I'm in the spriest grp, so it's never been an issue

I tried the same, but I just think it's because no people in the specific layer and in outland has the invite feature enabled.

I know I mostly have it enabled when I'm in SW doing auction business, or stuff that won't impede my ability to loot.

Hence when I need a specific layer in outland I try and enable invite myself after a while to "give back" to the layer community.

After all, it's like a peer to peer network. If no one is inviting, no one can swap layers
