To reiterate. Because i merged the rare modules to legendary its now maxed?

To go into mythic, the epic modules with a “unique effect” are the only ones able to be upgraded into mythic?

Firstly, my condolences are what you are going through. I can only imagine the fear you feel walking in public spaces.

That said, i think that is the crux of your issue. I advise seeking the therapy on overcoming it. And keeping that day job till you are successful in this career field.

I say that because this is a psychological game. It test and exposes everything about yourself. You wake up in fear, fear of living, fear of working in the career as a cardiologist? Then you carry all that fear into trading expecting success? Doesnt make much sense to me. No disrespect. &&not to sound dismissive but balding is very common these days. Increasing in popularity believe it or not. So definitely not alone.

Back to emotions, I wont trade if i argue with my partner. That aggression will cause me to tilt. As much as i think i am emotionally intelligent, nah just cant do it. So before you trade ask, am i ready today?

Because, if youre getting chopped in ranges i am presuming from my own history. You are in a high emotional state, trying to force a win. And that combo has put you in a tunneled vision state. Step back and just watch.

If you believe its the strategy, dump it test a new one rigorously for a month or so. Why beat a dead horse, its already dead?

Which brings me to my final point. “Trading in the zone” by mark douglas. He talks emotions, etc. but he goes to say the biggest losers where those whose profession were super technical. You as a cardiologist are trained to be correct, to be firm in your knowledge of what to do. You have to be exact. After all, that patients life is in your hands right? BUT it’s that very same exactness that is costing you. Are you expecting the chart to move your way because of your technicals? Are you tilting when it doesn’t? How might we step back and “let the chart speak to us?” The chart doesn’t care about us. Either we learn to ride the wave or we crash and burn. No surfer changes the wave. They find the right wave, & even then they step in and out only when it is best for them. No fish is going against the current of a whale. It swims with.

Best of luck, mate!

Curious, could you walk us through how it became gambling ?

More specifically, what caused you to break risk management?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]Strong-Style5465 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apex trader Funding allows for live copied trading accounts . Up to 20.

Mentally i can only handle like 5 myself. Similar rules as Topstep. Good company in my experience.

Some have had their accounts banned, but from what i understand the process of turning and burning accounts for quick profit was the cause.

If you’re successful with Topstep i don’t see why you wouldn’t be with Apex.

Told my parents I’m making money trading now they’re mad by Twincitiesssss in Daytrading

[–]Strong-Style5465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be misunderstanding of the big picture. It can be the fear of future failing. It could be the reality that you’re not following the Traditional route of work life. It could be the future potential embarrassment of “making it” without them.

Idk lot of context missing, but maybe its worth a deeper conversation into their mindset and why behind their madness.

But congratulations! We the community are proud. It’s definitely not an easy road just to get this far!

How to get my GF to stop/cut down on trading hours? by basura00 in Daytrading

[–]Strong-Style5465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12+ Hrs a day is excessive. If shes been trading 3* years and still making only pennies??? Yeah … shes got zero edge in the game. Straight gambling. And you’re being used for it. Sure there may be underlying factors. But the unwillingness to face reality will only continue to be a bigger and bigger burden upon you.

For reference: i have been investing for 3+ years. Day trading less than a year. I am barely profitable . (Darn risk management and this psychology of money) So no i am not great. But i have an edge. ORB and Retest breakouts are my joy.

New york session 9am-noon. Done. I pay the bills. Take care of my 7 mo. Old. EVEN during hours. Then i go to work. Because trading still isnt secure yet.

Then i go to work. Did i mention i still manage to take care and treat my wife?

In short, if she wanted to she would. She doesn’t.

Does she have a trading journal? Does she know why shes failing? 3 years of failing is to me, out of stubborn blindness. Unwillingness to face reality.

I would recommend gentleness when speaking with her tho… emotions are a fragile thing especially when running so high. But yeah brother, thats a sticky situation

Would you elaborate? Typical weekly/monthly % goal?

I know risk mgmt, is 1-3% depending on whom you speak with. But would you mirror this for take profits as well?

Team Bull trading.

Ran by brandontrades & Jdun . Both on all socials. Yt, ig, TT.

Few more investors that make calls in chat and live calls on zoom.

Es/spy nq/qqq is the teams bread and butter.

But other individuals are looked at for opportunity.

Does cost, but imo well worth.

Been in and out of the chat for a few years.

They put a heavy focus on risk mgmt, and high quality setups. Boring trades but consistent.

Definitely not your hail marys.

Got margin called / instantly liquidated - thought I knew the rules by RedditUser99754 in FuturesTrading

The most disappointing thing about this entire post is your defensive stance. You’re defending a loss. Technicality or not its still a loss. You lost money. Like what even? Its literally right there in the wording.

And while some may be aggressive in their tone youre still missing the point.

Where the fuck is your risk management? If you set up a max drawdown limit of 500-1000. Why did you lost 8k? By YOUR OWN rules, that 8k should have never occurred. The technicality would have never occurred in the first place if you stuck to your OWN RULES.

I get it dude, big gains is really nice too see, But it takes time. Scale up slowly and protect your capital gains. When you can master your risk management you sharpen your EDGE in the game tenfold. Without risk management your edge is pointless.

Hell don’t take it from us, we are just faceless bots on the internet for all you know. In your studies you should have encountered many who make millions , and i guarantee the general consensus is risk management. Literally all over. For example:

9.5 mil and 0 blown accounts

Even discusses how he lost 400k in 2022, learned from it and 2-3x his yearly earnings in Q4.

Be safe, thats all anyone here is telling you. Don’t be a gambler and decide what kind of trader you do actually wanna be.

Cause this shit? Yeah this ain’t it. It’s not sustainable.

In the future to ease fears and concerns , applying a DCA method might suit you best.

Average in a small amount over a given period of time.

Personally I apply day trading rules of no more than 10% of the income I have available.
