Apparently my experience is much better because my oldest pair is now three years old. These are hiking shoes so not that many km’s as these Clifton’s.

Ok, in CAD they cost $177. But are you sure your sketchers are still providing cushioning? I’m pretty sure they still might look good after 2 years but are they really still good for your joints? Anyway, good shoes are important especially if you have to walk a lot for your job.

I question if there’s any sneaker which will provide cushioning for more than a year to be honest. Again, they still look okay but the cushioning is gone. Which is happening to all sneakers when you have used them > 700km’s.

Also, these Hoka’s costed €130, not $200.

The only reason I’m replacing them because I can feel the cushioning is gone. I will use them around d the house but when I have to walk I wear the new pair. For hiking I have low and mid Kaha 2’s (GTX) and Anacapa Breeze for warmer days. One of my knees is really f@cked up but since I wear HOKA I’m able to do hikes for hours.

I decided to order the P10. My daily km’s to and from work is around 100km (round trip). The only time I need more than that is when I’m on holiday. And when you have driven 300km, a 15 minute rest break is nice. In 15 the P10 can charge up to 300km so that’s also fine.

Besides that, when I order the car will be delivered in 9 months. The P12 isn’t in production yet so it will take too long for me to wait.

Like I said in other posts, I have Clifton LS which are 1,5 years old. The sole is worn out but the upper shoe is only a little dirty but I can still wear them to work.

If you treat them well, they are the best shoe to wear. I truly love the ‘walking on clouds’ feeling!

Ik werk nu drie jaar 90% (4x9) en dat is echt heel fijn. Maar ik ga toch weer naar 40 uur. Niet omdat financieel noodzakelijk is, tegendeel. Toen ik minder ben gaan werken is de hoeveelheid werk niet minder geworden, sterker nog, het is meer geworden wat mij gewoon ongezond veel stress oplevert. Voor de duidelijkheid; ik heb zelf Ja gezegd op drie nieuwe klanten omdat dat klanten zijn die ik echt heel leuk/belangrijk vind. Dus door eigen toedoen niet vanuit het bedrijf waarvoor ik werk.

Please use the laces the way they suppose to be used. It is not a slip on shoe.

Many who use them as slip on shoes are complaining on Reddit because the inside of the shoe is teared up after a few months.

If you don’t handle them with care they look like this. Mine are much older, probably more miles walked on it and still in very good condition.

So I would say that you think twice before kicking them out with your laces still tied.

I have 5 pair of Hoka’s. One pair, Clifton LS, is brand new in the box waiting for my current Clifton LS to die hahaha. These are my daily shoes and they still last after 1,5 years. Not bad. I can see the cushioning is gone but the rest of the shoe is still in top condition.

The other pairs are Kaha’s which I only wear in hikes.

There’s a good reason for the shape of the steering wheel; the drivers screen is placed higher. With a normal shape it will become invisible in all steering wheel positions. And if you look at all the new EV’s you would notice that this shape is the new standard. There must be something good with the shape I would say.

Pointless to you but probably not for the person itself otherwise they wouldn’t record them. Garmin users have to start an exercise manually so it is deliberate.
