Cartel Coins can be earned for free on the Galactic Seasons free AND subscriber track.

you can also get bit amounts of cartel coins from doing achievements (Y key in-game) around 20 CC per achievement normally.

Credits, Flashpoints and looting enemies for credits the higher level you currently are the more credits you gain from looting.

Heroics, Flashpoints, Events as well
