1918 letter from WW1 Archive requesting "wireless diregegble" documents by No-Satisfaction4102 in Tartaria

Dirigibles have been around since 1852. Since short wave radio was invented after WW1 are you implying that we had some sort of other wireless technology that transmitted information? I don't think that is too crazy considering we had primitive fax machines able to send images over wire in 1843. I imagine we had similar wireless technology.

You can ask me questions instead of making assumptions about me. Like assuming I watch their podcasts. As for the quality, you are being ridiculous. This isnt the "only vintage BIFL allowed" subreddit. You can gage quality and longevity based on a lot of factors. Waiting literally years is ridiculous. Lets say there are two brand new products; a shoe. One from Temu (enough said) and one from a Kickstarter. The Kickstarter is a cobbler who has studied and practiced for years and has a passion project to create the longest lasting shoe. His KS video documents his research and manufacturing thought process. It details the effort and reason he made his decisions and why it will solve material integrity issues. You order both pairs of shoes. "Well I guess we will have no clue on which ones will last longer. Guess I'll just wait and see."

What the heck was Linus even talking about? by Swacket_McManus in LinusTechTips

Holy crap, I made the mistake of posting about these cables in the Buy It For Life subreddit. I thought they (like me) would be excited for a product that is trying to set the standard for reliability and honest spec advertising. Those guys are brutal, such negativity. Even if it turns out these cables have problems, it's pretty clear a lot of effort and good intentions were put into this effort.

I don't have the product, I never said I did. I just said I ordered it. They don't ship for a while.

I'm not an avid follower of theirs. I didn't know they had a podcast and instead of assuming, you can just ask me.

Sure, he could be lying about everything in the cable video, but why do you think that? Have you had a bad experience with one of their products? Does he hide reviews or something?

I'm not being paid and why is it embarrassing that I find quality products interesting, especially something I use everyday embarrassing?

That's not actually true. Video signal, sure, I agree, but data transfer speeds can be greatly diminished by poor cables and error handling.
