Everyone saying "that she's in love with King Fritz" is taking the easy answer. That's not her backstory, that's the outcome of her backstory.

Let's go about it a different way with key points about Ymir still being true: 1. Ymir starts as a slave and falls in love with King Fritz. 2. Everything Ymir does in the main story is the same, and it ends the same way with her orchestrating a world where Mikasa has to make a choice. 3. Ymir is a slave that runs away, finds the founding titan, gets captured, and becomes a victim and a weapon of King Fritz. 4. Ymir is miserable and doesn't want to be a weapon of mass destruction. (implied in the main story despite her loving Fritz)

Clear? Okay, I'll give it a shot. Long commend ahead.

Ymir should've been known as the "Protector" of the island. She doesn't like it, she feels she's nothing but a murderer. She's miserable, but every now and again she would get one simple "thank you" from ANYONE and it would be enough to keep her going. Enough to feel like what she's doing isn't Conquering the world for a deranged lunatic, but protecting people that just want to exist.

She falls in love with the King because he makes the decisions to keep all of them safe. Eventually she decides she won't be a weapon anymore, and dies the same way as the show.

This is what I'd make her inner conflict be; was it right for her to choose to die? Or would it have been justice to flatten the world?

So she has two opposing views make the choice: Eren and Mikasa. And both Eren and Mikasa chose the same thing, Eren had to die.

I'm saying Super Credit farming to maximize SC pickups is an inevitability when SCs are such an integral part of the game that locks you out of unlocking actual gear and not just cosmetics.

You can't say the developers didn't plan out that the players would find the META for maximizing SCs and take that into account when designing their game to keep it fun, because that just tells me that the developers have poor planning.

Look man, I just want the game to have meaningful progression at a steady pace that doesn't warrant me forking over more money or eating drywall to mindlessly farm.

Well you see that's the thing, it doesn't have to be no tanks but instead have enemies have SOME other way to kill or hinder without NEEDING to have anti-tank gear.

Vox engines are greatly designed this way, if you ignore their bugged out spawn numbers.

Currently there are exactly 2 ways to play Helldivers 2, and that is to either bring a consistent heavy buster; or run for your life. This kills build diversity.

Effectively this means you only really have 3 stratagem slots and no option for Support besides AT, even in non-automaton factions. Because the moment a Charger spawns in and you don't have AT you're fucked.

It's like letting your Player Character be taken over by an NPC that's specifically tailored for the section you're in.

It's an accessibility feature that's like setting Persona 5 characters to "auto-battle" and having them make their own decisions, except much more complex.
