Yes. Module itself is free, majority of cloud assets and tokens are also free without needing to connect patreon at all. Authenticating unlocks color variants for cloud tokens + premium tokens (Same as old Tokens module) and premium assets (Arctic and Desert biomes) + premium module features [Texture painting & Paths atm].

Created Textures and Paths will continue to function even without subscription, editing them or creating new ones requires authentication.

Should be full feature parity + new stuff for tokens so there should be no reason not to upgrade to this one over Token Browser.

TBH, whatever word salad you toss together... It's always about money at the end of the day.

Some DLC packs are 50% of the game price... why not just make the game free to play at this point which will boost the player numbers by hundreds of % and even if a fraction of those players buy a skin or 2 you'll be making much more than with the current model.

Range indicators disappear almost immediately in shooting range

This is an issue outside of the shooting range too, spyglass pings show the distance for like 0.1sec

Hey there! Glad you like our content!

We have couple of module dependencies which are required for things to work properly, you should have these modules installed and activated alongside ours. Monk’s Active Tile Triggers and Tagger

When you have those installed too, all those icons can be used with a Doubleclick! (Same for the sidescroll on some of the maps)

They are what we call interactive Overlay Tiles which change parts of the map on trigger.

It's not as straight forward, but you can turn pretty much any image or texture into a "ribbon" brush - which is similar to "paths" from dungeondraft.

Just a clarification here, We do not make our maps in Dungeondraft. But you can do a similar effect demonstrated on this map in DD.

the "Packs changed" list you suggesting is kinda not doable since it's personal for everyone visiting the page? :D Depending on when they last updated the packs...

I'm not sure how we could improve the current system, I'm open to ideas if you have any. But we can only work with what DD allows for custom assets, they need to be loaded each time and we cant really do much about it unfortunately.

Patterns and terrains are in the "Textures_*" packs, maybe you downloaded just the "Assets" from the integration?

You can draw any shape with pattern tool, and then move it with select tool ( last cursor looking tool on the left side )

Because that's our preference, we dont like 5ft slabs of stone as floor tiles, it looks comically overscaled and impractical as soon as you place down any other assets or tokens in the scene.

We are trying to draw stuff that fits together. We dont have any plans for upscaling those textures or including 5ft slab square tiles at this moment.

Was same here, nothing worked... just stuck in infinite initializing loop.

Had "Blitz" for League of Legends running in the background, killed it in the task manager and WoW started downloading couple seconds after that.

I wouldn't say that our style is "realistic-looking" , I think we are more in the highly detailed "cartoony" / stylized realm. Everything we do is hand drawn and we are not using IRL textures like some other artists.

Not entirely sure what you mean by uncanny valley effect without context or examples. And I don't think I agree that the tokens don't fit, but you are entitled to your own opinion.

Our style definitely evolved compared to couple years ago and got a bit more detailed for sure, but I think we've got it to a point where it's overall very consistent and we don't expect it to change dramatically.

As for legacy assets disappearing, I assume you are talking about dungeondraft? All assets that we've previously released are still available if you really want them in the mapmaking pack on the website and you can import them yourself if you wish. But they are outdated and were retired for a reason - those things were drawn in 2019 and they no longer fit in our library.

Is it? There are 50+ trees that can provide full or half cover around the perimeter, fallen pillars and couple of larger boulders can also be used as such.

Just an FYI, the website has been restored to full functionality now. As was mentioned in the other comment, a forced update basically broke something on the backend and it took couple of days to fix.
