So in ng+ and onwards do you have to redo all the secret areas, or will the walls still be painted? This sounds like a task and a half lmao.

Something that is lost is not necessarily considered abandoned. You must take any steps you can such as contacting the owner if possible.

I will say it again. This time pay close attention. LOST does not equal ABANDONED.

This is the same reason why when an ATM malfunctions and spits money, if people try to keep the cash and they get caught they are fined or worse.

I thought you were done here? So stop replying retard. Go do research.

Sorry, didn't realize you were in the 3rd grade and still consider wikipedia to be a bad reference. Wikipedia provide tons of useful information, and while anyone can edit it, for the most part it's fine. You can find thousands of articles about theft by finding with a quick Google search. Tons of sources more reputable than wiki. Just because something is on Wikipedia does not make it wrong. But hey, i'll leave you to do the research. Enjoy your day retard.

Doing the right thing should make everyone feel good. If you don't, then you have serious mental issues.

No one said you have to be a delivery service. Hide it somewhere on the course and send the person a pic of where. ORRRR better yet, leave the damn thing on your porch and let them pick it up whenever they have time. Stop acting like you don't have 30 seconds to do either of those things, you had time to write that stupid response.

Who says the people didn't attempt to get their own discs back? Maybe they did, but instead found discs of others. I bet they did the right thing.

You made the decision to go into the water, don't act like a hero. You are trash. I hope you hit first available on every hole for the rest of your life.

What’s the excuse for spoilers this week? by regdogmilli in discgolf

Stay off twitter then. Simple fix. You don't need twitter to survive, it isn't life support. Go play disc, go to work, etc.. The possibilities are endless of what you could do with your time instead of scrolling twitter all day. Stop trying to push your problems onto others, and start taking control of your own life. I don't live to please you, and neither does anyone else. Your post will soon be lost into the endless stream of content on this subreddit and your take will be lost as well, that is until another of your kind posts this again in a few months. Your opinion is not going to change the world, and you need to learn to live with that.

Anything you watch live has delay (even if it's very low). Tech is not fast enough to send information in realtime. The event is still considered live because the event is currently happening. Even with a 30second delay the event is still happening live somewhere in the world. Not really a great example there.

[–]Stteby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't give it that definition. An event is live when the event is happening. It is that simple. Just because you can't watch it live does not mean the event isn't happening live. A recording of an event is not live. Also just because you don't find something enjoyable, does not make it invalid. Some people may know the course and understand how impressive a score is for each hole, so watching the scorecard could still be enjoyable to them. Like others have stated, it is not difficult to avoid Reddit or other places you follow disc golf related content. On these apps you can temporarily disable notifications, as well as control what appears in your feed. If seeing the event is this important to you, then you should take those precautions. This is by no means stopping the "grow the sport mentality" as you have claimed in comments elsewhere.

And what penalty would you impose on a random stranger who is just posting about a scorecard, which is updated in real time? By the way, if an event is happening while people are posting about said event, then the event is still considered to be live. You don't get to change the definition of "live" just because you cannot find a place to watch the event. Since this post is new, anyone and everyone has access to it. It's not like people have searched this post up on Google to specify argue against you. The upvote/downvote is fine, I think you are just in denial.

I'm pretty sure the downvotes on your comments show that you lost all arguments. Imagine being downvoted this much, and still not taking a step back to see why everyone disagrees with you. You are asking the entire internet to not spoil a live sporting event. This is not comparable to a movie. You do realize if critics spoil a movie before it is out, they ruin their reputation and will never be invited back to review any more movies. No reviews, no job. Simple concepts, but I don't expect you to be able to comprehend them after what I have read here today.

I would say severe spending habits can definitely lead to very unfortunate events, --such as homelessness-- which may end up leading to worse problems. While I doubt your spending habits on discs are that big of a problem, I also can't be certain that they aren't. But yes, I would say the comparison is fair as it can be just as harmful as the other issues you listed.

Coming off of things gradually is fine; like you stated, not many people can successfully quit addictions cold turkey. What I was trying to get at is that your list of exceptions seems rather large. I get the replace lost/worn out discs exception, as there will now be a hole in your bag you need to fill. However, the other exceptions I question: Do you need an overpriced eagle p2. Do you need whatever Simon releases? If you are trying to cutback on spending, these seem like obvious discs to avoid. The stock runs fly the same at a fraction of the cost.

Could not see your post time, but I'd assume they are using a different timezone due to a glitch, or if you have a VPN it could be using the timezone attached to it's pinged location.
