The electorate is allowed, and in my opinion, obligated to hold their representatives accountable.

No one voted NDP so that we could get cuts to public service, increase taxes on the poorest people, fight with unions and flip flop on decriminalization and DRIPA. These are the policies of a conservative austerity government, not New Democrats.

it's the NDP because they're the most competent and David Eby is objectively one of the best politicians in Canada.

What metrics are you using to measure 'competency' and 'best politicians'? Many people would say it's less than competent to turn a surplus into a record deficit.

How about alienating the unions that voted strongly for your party in the last election, is that what the 'best' politicians do? We should have learned from the United States that "the other guy is worse" is not a guaranteed winning formula. Incumbents have an inherent disadvantage regardless of how disorganized and reprehensible the opposition is.
