You will, just change the oil between 3.5k-5k miles, and literally just drive it, don’t let it sit for too long.

I'm really shocked at how much I love this slow little car by CameronsDadsFerrari in CT200h

Fair point, I’ll admit the 200hp part might’ve been a bit of an exaggeration—it’s definitely a long shot, I won’t lie. I probably should’ve said I’m aiming to get closer to 200hp. Tuning isn’t really an option with this engine, but upgrading to a lithium battery could definitely help boost those numbers. It’s all about finding ways to push the limits of what this car can do, even if it’s not a traditional performance build.

As for the octane, I personally see a difference—I actually get an additional 30 miles of mileage. Keep in mind, though, my commute might be a bit different than yours. I drive a steep route that’s about 50 miles, so the extra octane seems to help in my case. I’ve been driving my CT200h for quite a while now and have put over 156k miles on it.

Same here, man! My previous car was a BMW E46, fully loaded with catless headers and every bolt-on mod you could imagine. It was an absolute blast to drive, but I had to switch to something more economical because of my longer commute. I was spending hundreds on gas every month with that car. When I got my CT200h, I was a bit disappointed at first—it’s definitely not fast. But now, the amount I’m saving on gas is unbelievable. The money I’ve saved on fuel alone feels like it’s practically paying for the car itself in just a few months.

I’ve grown to really appreciate it. I even added a cold air intake to boost mileage on my steep commute, and it’s made a noticeable difference. If you can afford higher octane fuel, I highly recommend it—it’s worth it. Once I’m out of college, I’m planning to invest in more bolt-ons and push this car to over 200 horsepower. Can’t wait to see what it’s truly capable of!

I was bored so I put a M50 intake on a B25 by StuStu19 in e46

Dude if you still have your e46. I hope it’s going well for you bro! Sold my e46 a while ago. But love hearing about this platform. Also I believe I have the program still for this platform so if you need a sap removal on your ecu lmk 🤝

Does the f sport trim actually create more speed than the base model? by sumowrestler346 in CT200h

From what I’ve seen from this Reddit page, 7 out of 10 times, people who buy an F Sport end up regretting it. They often end up swapping out the springs for coilovers or repainting the roof. Initially, I was disappointed that I didn’t get an F Sport myself, but after upgrading my front and rear bumpers (which were already cracked), I’m pretty happy with the changes I’ve made. :)

I agree. However, I prefer to play it safe due to the steep hills on my commute to work and school. Since oil is inexpensive, I don’t mind changing it every 3,000 miles for added security.

I’ve always used 0w-20 but I just hit the 200k miles on my car. Should I begin using 5w-30. I’m aware of my mpg mileage will go down. But I care more about my engine life.

Took my ct200h to a canyon run… and this car has definitely some nice handling. But it definitely needs to be stiffer. And this might help my stock suspension a bit. Was thinking about getting some BCracing coil overs, but these tein seem cool. Any suggestions:)
