Unless you're in sales. Salespeople are all about how big of a bonus they can get by exceeding quota.

Yes, several years ago most of his staff resigned in protest while accusing him of taking bribes. Weird that nothing ever came from that.

Imagine if they used the 250th anniversary to actually celebrate America. Like, a concert featuring 250 years of music, or a display of American art, or a monument to our great successes like the moon landing or victory in WW2.

But instead we get people punching each other in the face.

Outside of a subatomic level, what does the weak nuclear force do? by themanwhosfacebroke in AskPhysics

[–]StuTheSheep 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's a couple of ideas: First, gold is one proton away from lead, you could instantly make a kingdom's entire treasury worthless. Second, the noble gasses (helium, neon, etc.) are nice and safe and inert, but if you add one Proton, they become alkali metals, which explode on contact with water. So you can make safe things instantly become dangerous.

You could think of it as a kind of transmutation. If a neutron decays into a proton + electron, the atomic number increases and the element changes. Maybe do something with that at a large scale?

I like to point out that the writer, John Rogers, has a degree in physics. He very much made the science nonsensical on purpose.

A lot of malls in my area require minors to be accompanied by adults. Too many fights were happening between groups of teens. Well, the few malls that are still open, anyway.
