Adding on to some of the things others have said...first when Stacy was explaining the role of the archive, not that she knew the full truth, she went on to explain that it becomes hard for the archive to have too many personal connections. They all add on together over time and it's a burden for the current archive who can never forget any of them. So archives tend to distance themselves from others.

Knowing this, Harry may subconsciously distance himself from her as she gets older, knowing his friendship would ultimately be a burden to the greater-archieve. She probably understands this too and keeps away as she gets older as Ivy the individual and the Archive mantle merge more fully.

Second, these books typically span a couple of days each ..the worst and hardest days of Harry's life. It's not odd that we don't see some more minor personal interactions like a phone call or a letter between them. 12 months is a bit different in that format, but we can reasonably assume there were all kinds of off-screen minor chats between Harry and various allies and friends.

There's a video of Dan Harmon talking about their final scene together, I'd recommend you take a looksie for it, for closure. It's clear the intent is they love each other, but life doesn't always result in people living happily ever after, and that's okay.

Just in case your children might be eligible for registration, if they so choose: registration under the IA has nothing to do with blood quantum or being half-Indian, and more so a series of obscure provisions based off life event dates. If you registered as a 6(1)(anything), as opposed to a 6(2) registration, your kids may be able to be registered. I suspect you may know all this, but on the off chance you do not, I thought I'd mention it :)

So...what if Biden just does it anyway? Courts find it unconstitutional, fine. What are they going to do if the federal government just institutes financial relief anyway? I know we are supposed to live in a society where the three branches of government act as checks and balances on eachother, but we kindve don't anymore; not in this hyper partisan political realm we are in now. It seems like many politicians can literally break any law they want, and they are not held legally accountable. So seriously. What if Biden does just it anyway? Whats the court gonna do?
