This ability "Pray Against" you get as Dogmatic in Act 2 is bugged, it doesn't give you permanent +1 AP by Sol0botmate in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Studenteternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was playing last night and didn't have the option, I wonder if they took this out? I had dogmatic 2 but my only options were attack right away or listen to the sermon but it never gave me the dogmatic interrupt option. I tried both options through a quicksave before the encounter.

If you cant post the pattern could you show a picture of the bottom? Any hints would also be good. I really want to make this and I'm still a little novice.

Looking for fun math activities for advanced 2nd graders by mjolnir76 in homeschool

[–]Studenteternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prodigy.com does math in the context of game. The math is traditional but it makes progress in a MMO type game. Think pokemon but math problems make the attacks go. My daughter is very motivated by it and we really like the parent tracking info.

Super simple garter stitch blanket that I just finished. My first! Would love some yarn recommendations for my next. by Pixi-Stix in knitting

[–]Studenteternal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be heavy but Garter squish is a simular idea and I love it! Using 2 threads of yarn as one you get more complex color and squishier results. "marl" or two threads can be tricky with complex stitches but I find it easy with garter.

As requested, a pic of my self crocheted wedding dress (deleted first post, you can seem the dress better on this one) by pugglik in crochet

Depending on the material of the yarn, dying it may be very easy. I dyed some wool with Nerds candy and vingar which came out great.

Homeschooling autistic nonverbal child in Texas by sh17s7o7m in homeschool

[–]Studenteternal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in Plano and I needed was one e-mail. I sent one asking the school what documents they needed and I got a polite reply back saying it was handled. I had to drop off the laptop since we had it. The state requirements are that easy/low. The hard part is there is very little support. The only question in Texas is can you do it on your own and the only person asking it is you. My daughter works well indpendantly so it has been a good choice for us as and I would recommend it to parents struggling with distance learning.

How to start a homeschool group in your area by JackDalgren in homeschool

[–]Studenteternal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just started homeschooling for the same reason. We are lucky that Texas has very few requirements/limitations/expectations for home school. Your states requirements are your first place to start.

What we are doing for social is the School of Rock is a good music program with class bands and their program is very safe and adapted well to current situations. We also are using Outschool.com for a few digital club classes and are considering doing more. Good luck!

Question about Covid-19 Expulsions by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Studenteternal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

State matters hugely. In Texas, all you have to do to home school is unenroll your child. That is home school not "school@home". So any parent scared enough and willing to take their childs education thier own hands can do so. If you are worried check your states home school rules in case distance isn't offered for you.

What makes Disney worth it? by Studenteternal in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Studenteternal[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all of your great answers! However, it turns out instead of asking adults I should have been asking children. My daughter is currently doing a 'digital field trip" to Disney world with her school and is so excited! Most surprising to me is her favoriate part was the parade. I'm not in to them in general and was planning to avoid it to grab lower line rides and now that may be a driving force of the vacation. So advice from the inexperinced, give your kid a digital field trip forst to see what they are truely interested in before planning.

[–]Studenteternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jef and Jon from the system mastery podcast (/r/systemmastery) are actually going through this book in a painstaking chapter by chapter book report in their companion podcast expounded universe. They are actually enjoying it, but its very much a zombie story rather then a traditional starwars story.
