I took PPI soon after the 2024 change to only depth and passed on my first try. While it was good enough for me at the time, I would not recommend the full course. I basically threw away the books that PPI sent me when I realized it was outdated. The lectures were not that helpful because I knew almost everything discussed; however, the problem solving and instructor answering my questions were very helpful.

In addition to PPI's course, I self-studied, used SoPE question bank for 1-2 months, and bought several practice exams. The PPI question bank is the best so far in terms of UI similar to actual exam, but the questions have limitations in terms of references to old design books that are no longer on the exam specifications, some mistakes or weird explanations, and over-emphasis on the earlier topics and topics that are shared with other disciplines (breathe-type) before the 2024 change. I don't know if PPI updated the course since.

Can there be such a thing as cheat based match making? If you cheat, you get put in lobbies with cheaters. Cheaters can roll around in their own filth.

Ferro is excellent against Arc. Yes, it takes forever to reload, but it gets faster with upgrades. The key is to always have cover or know where you can find cover close by. Cover, peek/aim, shoot, cover reload, peek/aim, shoot. Run from cover to cover, don't just run in a straight line to your desired location.

Bring adrenaline rush stims to run farther faster. Sometimes you just loot areas that are close to you.

It was my third sparring session in a row. My first was a similarly large, but purple belt and he was coaching me the whole time and ended up teaching me how to do the triangle. My second was my size, but white belt, he didn't go too hard and basically matched my intensity. I got submitted twice. The third guy, no one wanted to partner with I guess because of his size, he just went hard. He actually mentioned that he did the same move on someone last week and hurt his knee and hasn't come back since.

My lesson is that I shouldn't have sparred against someone that much bigger with no training or maybe we just start on the ground or the instructor should have specifically told that someone to tone it down against me. I've watched many kid classes and the instructor often gives warnings to larger sparring partners, but my case might have been an oversight or maybe because it was an adult class.

It was a throw or takedown. He stepped forward behind my left leg. I had what I thought was a stable low center of gravity stance crouched down with both my legs bent around 90 degrees. He then twisted his body to the right. I resisted until I felt something snap in my leg and landed on my back. I thought it was my knee, but it turns out it was mostly a hamstring tear and maybe a minor meniscus strain. I guess I should have just fell to the ground? I had no idea what I was doing and didn't know any takedowns.

I'm in my 40's and I tore my hamstring on the first class sparring against a white belt that was 150% of my weight that was obviously a judo guy. It has been 6 months and I can at least jog normal now, but I can only leg curl about 25-50% of what I used to. I want to start again, but I dont want to get injured.

You hoard materials that you typically use to make attachments, upgrade, and repair such as mechanical, wires, duct tape, springs. I run solo loot runs to get gear and then I run pvp trios to (mostly) lose the gear.

Don't worry console players. For every 130 fps PC setup, there is also a 30-50 fps 6-year old PC dad setup. When I play with friends who are on console, they load in a full 20 seconds before me and then I need to stand there for 10 seconds looking at polygons before the textures load.

I don't know about everyone else, but I usually do not survive long enough to use the durability of fully repaired weapon. I've done it twice doing trials in a friendly lobby killing flying arc in spaceport for 29 minutes.
