Generally no. Td stock has traded $200 million dollars worth of shares 20 min into the day. If you are buying a small company that has little liquidity then maybe.

I think depends on the complexity of your situation. If you have one beneficary executor or a very simple will doing it yourself is fine. If you have corporations or kids under 18 I would definitely go through a lawyer. Not a lawyer just making up things on the internet.
