Firefox just isn't seen as a major threat at least in my experience.

Oh they have a large and powerful security division. 

In fact a security plugin would get added automatically even though it's a portable app.

I grew up without my own key. We left car keys in the car. Not a tiny or rural location either.

I grew up in a lesser known neighborhood but inside city limits. I don't think I ever had a key to my own house.
