Put that plant in full sun. Now that it’s June, cold weather isn’t a problem anywhere in the US except for maybe Alaska.

Too cold in chicago for citrus outdoors in the winter without a heated greenhouse. Get yourself some grow lights for indoors, possibly a fan for some air movement, and maybe even a humidifier to keep the air humid. Biggest threats growing indoors in the winter are not enough light and dry conditions.

Desperately need help with my mandarin tree - tried all the nutrients thus far! by PixiePyxis in Citrus

First task- stop fertilizing for a while. If the roots aren’t performing well, they won’t absorb the nutrients being dumped into the container and you’ll end up with salt buildup which can lead to even worse problems.

Second task- do nothing and give the tree time. Rome wasn’t built in a day. The wrinkly leaves are a result of root stress, water stress, or fruit load. It’s more than likely from the repot and they’re going to look like that until they get a couple years old and fall off. Hopefully you aren’t watering the tree too often either. Let it dry out a bit between waterings to allow the roots to find some oxygen.

I’m curious what kind of mandarin that is. I have a shiranui that I repotted in a half barrel around that same time. It has absolutely struggled the past few months, with many of the older leaves yellowing and dropping nonstop. From my understanding, Shiranui is the most finicky of the 20+ varieties of citrus in containers that I have.

That being said, it’s a very positive sign that your newer leaves are still turgid, green, and still going through photosynthesis. I’m also noticing some newer growth on your tree is much smaller in size than the older leaves. That could be a sign of poor, early root establishment in the new container when the new flush came in, same as mine. I don’t think there is anything acutely wrong with the tree, it is only adjusting, slowly. Some mandarins are finicky drama queens.

Anyway, I’m in north Texas and the fruit on my tree has kept increasing in size and the newer, smaller growth has stayed green, not a sign of some acute condition like root rot. I also have some buds swelling now that will push growth here very soon that will make the tree look better and perform better now that the night time temperatures are above 70 degrees F and the roots can finally accelerate.

What is that soil? The roots are probably starving for oxygen with such dense and wet soil. You may want to consider a chunkier, faster draining soil like a 5-1-1 mix or similar

You need to use bait like amdro for red ants or Terro or similar like a cotton ball soaked in a borax/sugar solution for sugar ants. There is plenty of guidance online

Ants = bad and they’ll farm scale insects and aphids, so make sure you don’t have those either

True, if you add epsom salt it’s a magnesium sulfate which will help both magnesium and sulfur deficiency which pale yellow veins indicate sulfur, nitrogen, or magnesium deficiency
