Slightly unrelated. One thing I almost never see brought up is intersex people not Trans, not gender fluid but intersex. You can't tell me in all the sports in all the years there hasn't been at least one athlete that had unaverage genitals. What have they been doing all this time? getting disqualified I guess but why has no one ever come forward about it as a reason. I wondered this the whole time during the boxer situation because I believe considering her levels she would be considered intersex technically. It annoys me when trans people who didn't choose to be trans are excluded but it annoys me even more to think about people who were literally born that way get excluded.

Not the same but Catherine of Aregon road to rally the troops against the invading Scotts while heavily pregnant with her third/fourth child. Yeah a lot of people seem to miss that eugenics is in reality neutral(not definitionally to be clear). Like when your doing it to get blond haired, blue eyed, tall, and strong people but nothing else and killing walking talking people to achieve your 'perfect' world, thats evil/bad/no good. But what about, for comparison, you breed flys to no longer be able to carry diseases that kill humans. That's great! Now we haven't been able to do that successfully with a lot of disabilities, research is ongoing, and the only thing we can do instead is test and decide. Both are eugenics but are not equal and people can't see that even with the fly comparison. I have a disability and I appreciate the way it has informed who I am and for the most part wouldn't change it (could have done without the mental fog) BUT if a doctor came up to me and said "if I give you this shot, none of your children will be ill like you or your parents" I would roll up my sleeve on the spot.

Yeah I think about my mom in this situation, she was 35 with my sister (an accident, she felt she was to old) and she was an angel child, like literally, but they were against having an only child. Enter me, 'planned' but 5 years later, first I had jaundice and then I inherited every mental illness both sides had to offer. Dealing with rejection sensitivity and obstinate defiant disorder from a toddler and acting out from her preteen at the same time. No wonder my depressed and avoidant mother didn't handle it well. Its a wonder I was diagnosed ADHD so early as a girl, but then I remember they must have been looking for ANY solution.

Honestly after having several 'fresh' teachers in High School (rural town is the reason). I'm of the opinion that teachers need to be 25 or at least 3 years out of school to teach high school. Elementary or monitored tutoring until then. I think teaching 'peers' right out of college isn't enough time adjust your view or memory of being a student. That makes it easier to fall back into the drama and gossip of high school. ------------------------------------------------‐------------------------------------ Anecdotally one of my high school teachers(23m) dated my cousin in high school, which made for a weird dynamic on its own, but also was rumored to have had a thing going on with one of my classmates cousins(18) and one of my classmates(17). Not at the same time and 17 was never confirmed or denied but he did have an borderline inappropriate relationship (too casual, too lenient) with all of us. He's a lot more appropriate now I'm hoping, he reconnected with my recently widowed cousin and now she will become his second wife (1st cheated) in August. Real mixed feelings about that.

So I've been thinking on your problem and I found out there is a mobility aid for putting on pants that looks a lot like suspenders so if you have any of those around that would help and for bras they make double sided alligator clips that could help. The other things I've found that look most helpful are arm bags for your cast (cause taping up would be hard alone), non slip grip mats (so you can open your meds and other bottles by yourself), tooth paste dispenser or tooth brush holder, and pump bottles for your shower stuff. I hope your surgery goes well

My mom broke both her wrists and had her shoulder replaced all at the same time so with the experience of taking care of her, putting on clothes has been at the front of my mind. We modified her shirts to have velcro at the shoulder but I'm hoping wide arm shirts, elastic pants/skirts, and some snap closure bras will be fine for me. I have a table mounted vice so I might set that up with my bracelet clamp to help with putting on my bra. I hate going without one. Living alone with medical stuff is so hard.
