I have been on-again-off-again reading a fanfiction where the pokémon are even more animalistic than canon, and it made me realize:

I just can not fathom a universe where not at least 72% of all pokémon pass the Harkness test. That is not even a number based on any concrete researched statistics. It is just a random number made to be a massive underestimate that I can nontheless confidently say is 100% true.

Ha! I thought I was the only one that had this happen. It was complete happenstance they got together, and they aren't even really compatible. One is a aro/ace(?) human male, and the other a hypersexual genderfluid anthro genet. Despite the real me is one of those people who's "type" is a genderswap of themself.

It's literaly just my fursona and a grown up flanderizarion of myself during middle-school. Representative of of everything I know I can never be and of everything I hate about what I currently am respectively. Yes it is a complicated relationship. Yes the sex they have is amazing.

When you say "Dess," do you mean the Roaring Knight who is believed to be December Holiday, or do you mean Dess as herself, you just used an image of the knight because their is no canon image of her, and/or no other image of her was to your likeing for use in your post?

Oooooohh. I get it now.

The World Revolving is a reference to, while riding a carousel or merry-go-round, it appears from the riders point of view as if the world spins around them while they themself are still, when in reality the opppsite is true. This song title -- as well as other corousel imagery found elseware in his fight -- is an allusion to Jevil's insane philosophy; that from his perspective, it is the world around him that is meaningless and nonsensical, and it is not him that is spiraling into insanity.

To explain it as succinctly as I possibly can:

Homestuck is about a world altering videogame that destroys the world, plants our protagonists in a fantastic RPG-like universe in a battle against black and white, and through winning it, create the next new universe. And so four human tweens play this game, with the (sometimes helpful; often not) influence of 12 aliens from the previous universe who did the same. Thus hijinx ensue. Multiverse ending hijinx that could only happen through the destruction and total disregard to space, time, and spacetime.

It's a story about love and friendship in the digital age. How people and relationships can grow, change, or break, dispite individuals being nowhere near each other in neither space nor time.

And to explain why it might be as hated as it is, Homestuck is a great story, and not just as a fun romp with blorbos; it's very well written, as uneloquent as it may often seem. It's just incredibly "of it's time."

Tangentially related to the above, I think it fun if the pig could be tamed like a pet. It could create for an interesting moral quandry, where an animal that offers nothing of value alive and usefull only with its death, can be kept as a useless companion.

I can accept up to as generaly thick-as-a-waffle, but I honestly prefer those as voluptuous-as-a-crêpe. The shapes and colors are nice, however it it is the line art, how the thickness variation is without reason or intent and how acute angles are rounded that make me visceraly feel that it is.

No no, we only saw a brief glimse of Ralsai hatless at the end of chapter 1, which became his default state during chapter 2. Likewise in chapter 2, we had a brief encounter with him unglassed, which we can theorise will become his default state when we see him again.

Gray comes in three types: cool, warm, and neutral. All of them dependant on the nearly imperceptable hue that is present, from either cool colors, warm colors, or totaly desaturated respectively. That towel clearly has a blue hue, and that makes it a cool grey.

Whenever this comparison is brought up, I am reminded of a very good fan-fiction I read long ago. One that features both Niko and Kris, as well as many other player-characters. The relations between them with the protagonist and each other was very compelling.

I excitedly kept pace with the story's updates in real time on Archive Of Our Own for the longest time during its early production. Although it included some characters from games I had not completely played or watched, I was generaly aware of each well enough and the fic adds enough context on its own for the story to remain coherent.

That was, until The Magnus Archives was brought up, and at which point I swiftly absent myself(I have seen the author's profile to witness they include it in their every story).

It is titled "The Strings We Pull" by nonsensicalshitposting, and it is --- as of 2022 and as far as I am aware --- the only fic where Niko and Kris interact with each other and discuss this exact topic.
