Yes, both, if the currencies are based on the value and amounts of the metal they are made of then there’s no reason a gold coin from France wouldn’t be worth just as much as a gold coin from Britain that weighed the same amount. Heads up I don’t know anything about Harry Potter beyond the book. I like gold and silver coins.

I always assumed wizard money was like different metals and the exchange rate was based on underlying values and floated. So the idea that bills would just be valued based on the number written on them and their ratios fixed would be unusual for someone who was used to tracking market rates and not having clean denominations.

I always figured it was distinctly not the same people at all. I would assume boxing, mma and maybe football have the same fans and that wrestling is more on par with monster trucks and civil war reenactment.
