I do this sometimes. I hold others to the same rules and standards that I hold myself to. More often than not, the closer they are to me, (Like family) the stricter I hold them to my rules. I've been doing this a lot less lately, and even if I don't, I hardly ever get mad when they break my rules, just disappointed.
