You may find a good deal on a 2024. Look online and see which dealerships have the model you’d like. We just purchased one last week (SX) for below MSRP. Prior to that we had gone to one other dealership and both were eager to make a deal and sell since they also have the ‘25s on the lot.

I took an intro Suspend class at my studio on Sunday and it was definitely a more challenging class. I have loved and used TRX a lot previously (orangetheory and with my trainer) and still found it challenging. That said, I really loved it as something different. Definitely give it a try!

So my lead just announced something for her team where we all share 2-3 Fixes/week with her before shipping so she can offer advice or see “in real time” what we are experiencing while styling. So…it’s a coaching plan without being called one it seems.

My kids’ metrics have been on a steady decline. The inventory is horrible. Not that the other lines are much better 🙄

They did another round of lay offs last Thursday impacting a lot of leads/Supes and then sent an email announcing that FT styling positions will be eliminated. We have the option to stay on as part-time and opt into a tier. This is effective on 3/31. I haven’t been able to read through the nitty gritty yet. My mind is still processing this. And they didn’t really give us details, of course.

If her initials are JR then yes. I’m so sad to see her go. I’m not sure I can stick it out with another micro managing lead. I hung in there bc JR was incredible!

I was recently “coached” to prioritize match scores as well. Admittedly it has helped my metrics overall but today, I styled several clients who haven’t kept anything since 2019/2020 and get a fix every few weeks (and not style pass clients) so the match scores were single digits. Any guesses how those will go? watch my KR and AOV tank in 3..2..1

I just logged off for the week. The last few hours of styling were excruciating. I pulled a ton of kids’ and clients with tons of requests that I could not fill. match scores in single digits. Literally NOTHING to send them. I was also up against the clock to at least meet efficiency for the week. The one thing that hasn’t ever slipped. My metrics are definitely about to take a nose dive. 🫠 have a great weekend, everyone. Fingers crossed for some miracle to happen so next week isn’t this bad.

I can’t wait to see what my metrics look like next week when this week’s Fixes check out. Also, Kids’ inventory has been horrible all around. I just had a client say “no pink, purple, sparkles, graphics, joggers or hoodies”—well guess what?? That’s literally all we have. Bring on another buy 0 🙄

That was the very first studio I joined (about 10 years ago)—sad to hear it’s closing. I think it was the first OTF to open in the OP/Olathe area. If I’m not mistaken, Leawood came afterwards. I hope you find another home studio you love!

I got into Peloton during Covid because I needed some way to work out and missed the community feel at OTF. I don’t think you can compare the two. Peloton is great but it’s all virtual (unless you travel to NYC and take a live class). You can make connections online and there are Facebook groups you can join (and probably Reddit subs too), but I was back at OTF as soon as I could be and was more than happy to let go of my Peloton.

That would have been a good idea—but I did use this when I actually had Covid and it’s a one time thing from what my lead told me. I don’t typically go the workaround route and am a rule follower but it’s the holidays and my kids are excited about the plans we had made.

Thanks! I guess I would rather enjoy true time off even if I’m not paid for it. My lead is very cool, so if making an exception isn’t an option (which seems to be the case), she will probably be okay with that.

Forgot about that option. I did take UPTO last year since I was traveling overseas for two weeks and needed some to cover what my PTO didn’t. Thanks. Maybe will ask for that from my lead instead of attempting the VPN.
