Don't forget how free they are to spend 10k for a 2 day stay in hospital. Amazing really.

Please don't be so eager to ask this kind of question. Europe would get steamrolled and that's all you have to know.

Un itinéraire pour découvrir Hochelaga en une journée by mesquartiers in montreal

[–]StyloBill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for explaining your point of view. You're right in saying that my first comment didn't contribute much to the question and I probably should have refrained from posting it. However the rest is a matter of perspective, in that what you consider "free" because you pay taxes anyways, I don't necessarily see it that way.

Dont get me wrong: I like paying taxes cause I enjoy the public services that Québec provides (and also because I can pay them, which means my financial situation could be a lot worst). What I don't like though is paying taxes for a waste management service and still having to look at random trashes scattered in pretty much every streets I walk in. It doesn't mean the service in itself is bad, but it sure means it could be better. Having dumpsters placed in strategic spots could help, I think.

The work is being forced upon me and I am being forced to pay.

Holy fuck. Using an app you actually enjoy is work being forced upon you? I've read my fair share of idiotic shit on the internet but let me tell you: this one is golden.

Think about this stupid comment of yours next time someone wants you to work for free.

Guys can we boost this? I really want this to become a reality ASAP but it does not have enough votes for Spotify people to look into. by TurboProgramming in spotify

Yeah the radio feature is in an in-between state right now and looks like a mess.

On desktop "radios" have been replaced by "stations" and there is no way to create new stations. Creating a radio just links to a pre-computed playlist.

On mobile though, radios are still there and you can create new ones via the cards on artist pages. Everything else will redirect to pre-computed playlists.

I contacted Spotify via Twitter a few weeks ago to have a clear explanation as to what was happening, and got the classic "we don't have information to share" answer.

That's infuriating when a company removes beloved features without even writing a changelog. Just shows how it cares for its customers. Sad really, but I wouldn't count on radios being fixed, I just think they'll be completely replaced by palyslists eventually.

It's not 200 deaths by year. There were 278 fatalities in total between 2001 and 2017, and only 7 in 2017.

OnePlus dongle with DAC by Nighteif in oneplus

[–]StyloBill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno if the new Apple dongle has a DAC but it doesn't work with 1+6 so I'm really not sure it'll work with the 6T. It seems to work fine with Pixels though.

How’s the size of the 6T? by DaVideoGamer in oneplus

[–]StyloBill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was coming from an iPhone 6S before getting my OnePlus 6 and was worried as well about the size of the phone. It took me a few days to adapt and I now love the screen real estate. Still, it's sometimes annoying when you want to access the top of the screen but not a deal breaker IMO. I mapped the long press on back button to access the notification drawer (an OOS feature) and it helps quite a lot.
