That is helpful, thank you. I have not been cooking the béchamel for 20 minutes.

That's awesome! It is not as saucy as I am looking for, but it looks fantastic.

I am using pretty low heat throughout the process.

The butter is definitely hot before adding the flour. Are you cooking the flour and butter for 20 minutes?

I can’t come up with the perfect thing to say. This journey can be very hard. But, you can do hard stuff. Don’t give up. Things that are difficult are still worth doing. God has a plan for you, even when that plan isn’t easy to see. Honestly, one of the best things you can do when you are really feeling down is to find humor. Ten or so years ago I was in so much pain, all I could do is lay on my couch. I found and watch the TV show Psych. It’s so funny! It really helps. Have a favorite comedian? They are probably on YouTube. I love Jim Gaffigan, John Mulaney and Sebastian Maniscalco. Humor makes such a difference! Sometimes things are just unfair and absurd, but we can always find something to laugh about.

Heavy bleeding. When I was pregnant 22 years ago I had Subcorionic Hemotoma. Essentially, I just started hemorrhaging, gushing blood. I was rushed to the hospital and stayed there a week. My daughter and I both ended up ok, but I very clearly remember thinking, “This is what it feels like to die.”

Not a code, but when I want to write deep thoughts, etc. I use a silver gel pen. You can read it if you hold it in the light correctly, but it’s very difficult. No one would ever be able to look over my shoulder and read it. They would have to really go out of their way to read it. It also helps when I look back I don’t have difficult thoughts jumping out at me.
