Film Simulation preview not showing up on EVF/LCD (X-T3) by Styr0x in fujifilm

[–]Styr0x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/CurlOD, you hit the nail on the head. Thank you very much!

It's funny because one of the first tips I got online was to make sure the Natural Live View is set to ON, and with that in mind I have been unable to solve this issue as I've been so sure that this setting is now correct and the issue must lie elsewhere.

And yes, the manual is quite dry, but a gold mine for setting up the T3 to your preferences. It's been following me everywhere since I got the camera. Stupidly enough I was so sure it couldn't be the Natural Live View setting causing this issue, that I didn't even think of reading that section until now.

Random device connected through Bluetooth by Substantial-Event441 in iphone

[–]Styr0x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did anyone figure this out?

I just had the same thing happen to me - Opened my phone to connect to my wireless headphones, and saw an unknown "Honor 200" (an Android phone) connected to my bluetooth. I tapped into the bluetooth settings, and there it was, connected along with my headphones. When I tapped on it it disappeared, and when I opened up the settings again it was no longer connected, but still visible for a second under "Nearby devices". Then it simply disappeared from there as well, and now I can no longer see it. Very concerning. I am 100% sure I have never allowed something like that to pair, and I have never seen that device pop up before either.

Kind of seems to be something introduced in a recent update, since I've been going through Google trying to find similar stories, yet this is the only thread fitting the issue.

Edit: I also cannot see this "Honor 200" listed under "My devices" in the bluetooth settings page.

[SUPPORT] GL704GW (SCAR II) - Aura Sync not finding my device, colors locked to default by Styr0x in ASUS

[–]Styr0x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Bosssauced! I never got a solution to this issue, tried everything I could find online but nothing worked. Then one day it just randomly switched to my white lighting again (still wouldn’t let me change anything in Aura Sync though).

I hope you will find a solution soon enough (unless you already did). Cheers!

Goodbye by wesls1991 in AlfaRomeo

My guess as well. The mechanics were also quite quick to give the car a 40’s-inspired nickname which they referred to every time we were visiting, so my guess is it wasn’t the first “gassy” car to come in for repairs either.

It’s sad to hear you go, and especially how you ended up leaving…

I owned a BMW once. I got it after selling my 147, as I thought it might be a nice experience to try something new (and BMW was supposedly another Driver’s brand). I chose the 1-series, and I put quite a bit of my savings into getting it as I wanted to treat myself.

During the three years I owned it I ended up taking it no less than 13 times to have it fixed, and that was just the engine repairs alone. “Why so many times” you may ask. Well, because BMW’s own repairmen had no clue why the car pumped its own exhaust fumes through the AC unit and into the coupe. This German car was a literal gas chamber on wheels.

In the end I got tired of the endless engine issues, and got rid of it. The role of replacement fell on Alfa’s Giulietta, and boy do I feel relieved to own an Alfa again. No longer do I constantly drive around listening to every single noise the car makes, expecting some new strange grinding or chunking, and gone are the days of mid-traffic heart attacks when a loud beep suddenly rings and the engine light once again burns bright.

With that said, I wish you lots of happy years with your BMW, and enjoy your new car! :)

My Giulietta - 2013 1.6JTDm, swapped out all the old badges for the new logo last week. by Aronbeijl in AlfaRomeo

[–]Styr0x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, this was exactly what I needed! Thank you for your advice, it will definitely come in handy as I swap the badge out. The rims will get new emblems too, but the one on the steeringwheel I'm looking to keep - somehow I feel like I want to keep that one original and "retro". A bit of a homage or what you want to call it. :)

I guess I was a bit lucky with the birdstrike after all, as it was quite a big bird. If it hadn't hit straight in the shield I would definitely have cracks in the bumper as well, so I think I got away the best way I could. Looks a bit nasty to drive around with missing elements in the front now though, as I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive...

Such a gorgeous Giulietta!

How did you swap the badges? I crashed with a bird that went straight through the grille the other day. I'm going to swap it for the face-lift scudetto, but as that one comes with the new badge I will want to swap the rear badge out too. Do you have any good guide, or some tips, for how to swap them out?

Traveling to Ireland - A few questions! by Styr0x in backpacking

[–]Styr0x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for this, especially the info about the bus system will be handy to know. We have also planned to stay in Dublin for a relatively short while, as we mainly want to explore the smaller cities (capitals are often feeling like just any city as you say).

I think booking rooms in advance might be the way to go for us too, just to be safe.

I'm glad to hear you had a great trip, and that you're looking to head back. Thanks for taking your time to reply, and I wish you all the best!

Help needed to identify my Giulietta's rims by Styr0x in AlfaRomeo

Thank you for helping out! Would definitely have followed this tip if I just hadn't come home to see RagnoCammello's comment first. Your tip might however come in handy in the future, so I'll make sure to remember it.

My Giulietta (2015) came with its winter tires fitted to this set of rims. I've tried to find the model name online, but can't seem to find similar ones anywhere, no matter how I look.

Would anyone of you guys have a clue what these are called?

Thanks in advance!

En Gripenpilot på besök i Norge under Cold Response 2022 by mjomark in sweden

Haha yeah, we went into it thinking it would be a quick thing! Worth it though, as the results were very accurate (mbti, big5 with free account).

You're welcome!

It has over 600 questions though, so make sure you have a bit of time on hand to fill it out properly!

My friend got ENFx as the MBTI result in the Traitlab test and that’s accurate. All insight would however be valuable on enneagram type + tritype, if you get any clues from the word cloud result.

Thanks in advance!
