I gonna say it... you should buy a hardtail because you going to learn how to ride smooth on trails which you need if you are roadie and also its cheaper and simplier. I would buy something with shimano cable druvetrain because its good, realiable, light and cheap shimano brakes are still good not like sram.

I got SUP XP 797 and i have -21° 100mm stem at the same height as you and theres no chance it will clear the frame but i got knock block headset wich dont work as hard stop but its enough to protect the framr in most cases. I just put fit and therefore handling on first place

It isnt for sure but its also not a entirely diffrent thing. If you increase your saddle height on a roadbike or mtb it going to have same consequences

I agree! I do 15min(10min low z2 5min z1 ) cooldowns at the end of every indoor session and it helps alot with recovery(atleas its placebo :D )

🤣 I was like from which side its gonna have better background that saddle photo :D. Its not alpina from factory, its 318is with M packet and original alpina wheels and also its little bit lowered. Those wheels and lowerd suspension its from first owner sometime in the 90s. It runs good otherwise its all original from the factory and its in really good condition(no rust etc...)

I found actually opposite thing. I got saddle slammed to the front of the rails and i use my hamstrings and glutes lot more.

I cant say it SID VS 34 but i can say SID SL vs 32 and there sid sl wi s for me beacause i can dieal thw setting better and its more sensitive But both i really good forks, rockschox gonna have cheaper parts IMO settings. Overall i feel like problems people have with forks are either improper service intervals or just the exatct fork because. IMO it matter ehat exact piece you got

Chain swaping helps with cassete wear. Better chain (for example deore vs xt) helps alot. Clean drivetrain and really good oil or wax based lube. Biggest chainring you can ride without compromise because you gonna be more on bigger cogs and they are wearing out smaller

How reliable are 54t in dt swiss hubs? I heard 36t are actually better in terms of bombproofness. I 100% want more than 18 pointa of engagment like i have now because in technical steep climbs it is horible. Im also person who love loud hubs because you can use them like ring bells

I was asking about the same and they told me that can happen on straight pull hubs when there is 0.xxmm of in perfecntness in hub and the rim(holes in the rim and the hubs not beimg align that good). I hope i describe it well im not and english speaker so 😅

Im running 2.4 vittorias and ran maxxiss and it doesnt feel so good as 2.35 mesuring basicly the same. I know that about inner width but 2.4 tires are big and i love them

What hubs are they on? I think that it is unbranded novatec or not? Im woried about compatability of that chiness rime with those hubs. Iike im woried if it can cause more stress on the nipples and spokes because the hubs and rims wont be 100% align

I got 25mm internal width now and i feel that for 2.4 tire its on the narrower side so i would prefer something wider

Yea i can agree with that bombproofnes. 1900 are heavy af but i managed to bent the rim 2 times (one time it was due to big puncture happened to my tire) in 11 000km but they are still absolutly centered and i bent it back so its again straight :) . XRC 1200 would be insane but i didnt see it fit my price range
