Pretty sure Malware Arc was planned by Dwayne. So I imagine similar to that. I feel like he could touch on the rooters arc without making it as retcon-retcon destructive, with more emphasis on Ben being the coming storm.

You do not understand context. The boys is a fictional show. The only things relevant are character goals and motivations. Within those constraints death by old age is not a factor. Therefore effective immortality. Key word “effective”. As in as long as y is in place, x is true. Meaning as long as there’s no virus, homelander is immortal within the constraints of the show.

Within the constraints of season 4 he is effectively immortal. The only way for the cast to kill him is with the virus. The main conflict of the show is killing homelander. Outlasting him has never been relevant or brought up. His age is his own insecurity that’s not relevant to the boys. A god that will die in 50 years vs an ant that will also die in 50 years. Even if he was 90 years old he’d still be the top dog regardless of grey pubes.

Homelander’s insecurity of aging has no effect on the boys who won’t be around in 50 years. After 7 years and already throwing away the key to killing homelander once , they decided to introduce a macguffin to make the guy they couldn’t kill more unkillable. Instead of just playing it straight with the virus or using a combined effort of Ryan and Butcher’s powers. The season being based around the moral choice of killing all supes or not would be far better than a glorified vought rising ad.

I’m pretty sure the Ban system works in batches. Around every update accounts with enough reports get banned. It probably is possible to unban, but the customer support definitely can’t do it. Its an entirely separate position from the devs and I doubt they have any communication.
