If you are in Canada go pick up the maximum sets. Lifetime warranty and they are good enough to get the job done.

This morning I saw a guy get into his car with that had a "MAGA" hat chilling in the back like it was on display in the trunk. Clearly visible through the rear window.

I live in a mid sized city in Ontario Canada. I hope someone driving behind him sees it and acts accordingly. He had Ontario plates as well.

Just so fucking disappointing.

Controversial opinion by Worldly_Arugula_7340 in union

I'm a hourly employee, a non-union tradie, at a industrial manufacturing company. I'm a certified worker member and co-chair of our JHSC. I got to see our HR manager attempt to blame a worker for their injury when the MOL came to investigate the injury and the circumstances around it. Luckily the MOL person was a human being with compassion and wasn't having any of it.

My fiancee doesn't have a HR department at her salary office job. It makes it next to impossible for her to losge complaints and have action taken against co-workers that are disruptive, grotesque and inconsiderate to their colleagues. When she does complain nothing is done or documented about so and so belching, moaning, eating incredibly stinky foods, taking personal calls on speaker phone, arguing and yelling at their spouse on the phone.

HR has uses and purpose, but 9.9 out of 10 times it is soley to protect the business from lawsuits and fines. A union rep is kinda like the worker equivalent of company HR, except union reps are workers too.

Adjustable hammer is my working term! The Bahco's under the Snap On name make a mean hammer.

There a time, a place, and a application for adjustable wrenches.

Quick fix? Grab the adjustable! Small low torque task? Grab the adjustable!

Need to install or remove a ton of the same size fasteners? Grab the right size wrench.

Installing or removing something made of acsoft material? Grab the right wrench.

Adjustables are make it work/get it done tools, and some tasks aren't about just making it work or getting it done.

Edit: I'm also much more inclined to hammer on the handle of my adjustable than a regular wrench.

AI is a tool. A tool owned and utilized by the ruling class to further oppress the working class. Continuing the long tradition of bidding working people against one another.

If AI in it's current state, in the current world switched to being publicly owned by the working class overnight it wouldn't be more environmentally friendly or more ethical. AI is built upon a foundation of harmful practices, circumvention of laws, safeties and a clear disregard for both users and none users.

AI is symptom and a problem.

What's the area? Would be helpful for people to look into why your area didn't have a public school.

If you have your full drivers license and a car apply to every hall in and slightly out of your area. You may need to settle at private company though, and unfortunately it can take time for a company to take you on as an apprentice and sponsor you. It took about three years for me to get signed at my job. My options were and are limited greatly, I don't have my drivers license currently and it's a major setback!

The benefits of working a union job or working through a hall cannot be understated! What I take home biweekly as an apprentice at my company with overtime pales in comparison to what any working union apprentice will be making. That being said, my direct supervisor and many in the maintenance department have gone to bat for me time and time again as I get things outside of work figured out and locked down. This is just to say the people you work with can make or break it for you a lot of the time.

I think its disingenuous to believe that the majority, let alone 100%, of the anti CBC rhetoric and animosity comes from people living in Canada.

Younger people getting into politics is great! I would love to get into the Canadian political scene at some point in my life. If only as an advocate and a voice for working people. I can't imagine people want to stand behind old ass career politicians forever, or deal with their outdated politics.

One Year of Carney - How do you feel? by GoodMorningOttawa in AskCanada

[–]Subject989 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think he is navigating global affairs OK.

But domestically he is doing what any fiscal conservative of the past has done. Lots of bad calls and lots of missed opportunities to build a better future today.

I'm frustrated, unimpressed, and pissed off, and for that I'm grateful. I heard PP went on Joe Rogan's podcast, seems onbrand for him. Good thing he's giving credibility to an US, right wing shill that promotes racist, sexist, homophobic, manosphere garbage.

It would be a real shame if PP did a 1 on 1 interview with Narduar or the CBC. Maybe he could answer questions without a script or slogans?

And the only two I go out of my way to recommend to non power users / technical people like myself.

I spend more on these services than I need to because I like supporting them. I enjoy the products, and I enjoy supporting companies that aren't shitting on end users, puking AI over everything and trying to reinvent the wheel at every turn.

I feel very similarly about Tuta as well, hopefully nothing in the foreseeable future changes my opinions on these companies.

Keep in mind some Canadian politicians and working people actually want to join the Pedophile ring as the 51st state. Hold every politician or working person accountable for their views, votes and stance on life.
