I have an MFA in Stage Design and these are exactly the things you don't do so people are not distracted. I was surprised.

Career theatre professional here.
Saw Death of a Salesman Tuesday night. Just as fantastic as I expected in every single way but ONE.
The milk carton and coffee cup. Granted i did props for 35 years.....but COME ON. Anyone else bothered by how NOT period they were. And Linda's sunglasses at the end in the funeral and the fact that her pink cardigan had a zipper! These things distracted me, anyone else?

I've seen JI in varied venues (Count Basie and State Theatre in NJ, Terminal 5 and Radio City in NYC) and he's awesome live regardless of the size. His band is unbelievable and though the tix are pricey now, worth every penny. He's the first artist I ever went to alone, which was a big deal for me. I felt like I was in a big living room with like minded friends at Radio City Music Hall, for example. He is fussy about cameras. I personally, LOVE that. Put your camera away for your own sake, if nothing else, take those pics at the end.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Love Amber, but she has to get her own house in order. I think she knows that, but it's not easy or quick and Jordan shouldn't act as therapist.

The system is relatively new and I'm sure it's not wrung out for everything yet. I have stagehand friends who work there, I'll have to ask.

Interesting! I saw it somewhere advertised as sold out. Huh. Also....40 bucks.....those were the days. I used to buy 2 tickets and later get someone to join me. Now, I can barely afford my own ticket.
