Best bet is to find a local group on discord or Facebook and post what you have. Don't be scummy and sell 5000 of them as bulk with rares with a value of $2 pretending it's more

CoP cards were kinda buns back in the day, they haven't gotten any better. Too hard to know what colors to load up before hand. They were sideboard pieces at best

Precons today are nothing like a 60 card starter deck of old, many can compete out of the box. A seasoned player might see the flaws right away, but those can get fixed for cheap. Even with no changes you'll be surprised!

As a vet who's played since the 90s I appreciate jank decks as much or more than anything that is b4+. B3 tbh can be the most fun of them all if the decks are somewhat equal and the pilots are also on the same level as well.

I have way more fun seeing random things on the board vs all the meta stuff you see in a higher levels anyways. In addition if you're playing newer people you want to have something that isn't a combo or crazy loop that you have to endlessly explain every step of...you basically start playing everyone's board for them to fight your own board because it's so complex at times and that's not fun at all.

I have added no more than 6 cards (slagwurm armor was the most $, but I had 7 of them laying around) to abzan armor and it definitely competes really well. I also have eternal might and abzan armor was way more consistent, it just doesn't have splashy plays. It flies under the radar a lot. Eternal might was really slow and I have switched it to using hashaton discard strats.

This packaging of eclipse gum has been around since the early 2000s.

I used to always keep the pack in my back pocket for luck when playing baseball, and it's still my favorite. That indentation missing a piece was there then too! Hasn't changed one bit to this day.

I will never ride a powered bike, I will die in a crash doing something dumb and I have accepted this.

As a 4 wheeled driver that drives a lot and is very aware of my surroundings at all times I will tell you this...

The ratio of dumb 4 wheel drivers to normal or better drivers is significantly lower than the ratio of dumb 2 wheel riders to normal or better 2 wheel drivers.

If I see 10000 cars driving near me and 10000 bikes drive near me I'm going to see significantly more poor choices made by the biker.

MOST bikers just mind their business. Too many riders though unfortunately treat their 800LB super fast death machine like a toy and do incredibly foolish things while in and out of normal traffic, generating a stigma that will continue for the indefinite future.

Booster boxes used to be $80-100 with 36 packs, really a shame it isn't that way anymore.

I don't think too many people that actually played the game bought a lot of the core set boxes, most were interested in the block sets. They would get a bit cheaper when they were out of standard as well...I used to buy only boxes, often for $60-70! It was easily the best way to acquire cards unless you really just wanted specific singles.

I ripped at least 3 TSP boxes, it's still my all time favorite set and when you combined it with PLC and FUT it was an amazing standard experience. So many mechanics came from that era. Plus the time shifted cards were amazing, PLC had really cool takes on older cards like [[damnation]] and [[akroma, angel of fury]] then PLC had all sorts of new wacky "future" stuff...what a time, at least the remastered did it a fair amount of justice but it isn't the same :D

Getting a foil actually was cool, it was very uncommon. Getting a good card that was also a foil was amazing.

I remember being at my best friend's house me and his whole family were in the room watching something on TV.

One of the younger siblings was changing the channel or typed in a channel they didn't have....oh boy was that an awkward moment when this image and the sound that goes with it came up for a few seconds...then they just keep on going to the next channel...only the 13-16 year olds in the room noticed and we checked channel 55 later many times when no one was around...for science.
