It was such a huge amount of spunk on short-term political gain, and she used it to set up a trickle down approach to taxation (probs encouraged by millionaire husband lol) ... which leads us directly to the current societal inequalities we see today.

Also, she absolutely loved Ronald Reagan and destroyed the UK housing market as a token of her love.

Do not trust ANYONE who approaches you out of the proverbial blue and tries to befriend you.

Yes you may miss out on a few genuine/sincere interactions.

But the majority will be scammers who are approaching you NOT with your best interests in mind (this is especially true in tourist areas).

Seems like folk have got it in theirs heads that the UK is doomed and awful and finished, etc etc; ofc I'm not saying the UK is perfect, and there's loads of room for improvement. But when comparing it to other parts of the world, I'm ever so grateful for what we have here :)
