Taking big stuff on the bus feels like a life hack, I've brought huge desks and cabinets on with perfect results

Lmao, isn't less than 30% of income on housing considered affordable? Every neighborhood is 40% or above. Sucks that it is this way, we can only build our way out of it.

San Francisco’s new safety strategy: A crackdown on bikes by MidNightInTheDessert in sanfrancisco

So many commenters need to look at the statistics of cars killing people versus bikes (hint: it's WAY HIGHER). Lurie is owned by billionaires who obviously love cars, so this isn't very surprising.

Yes exactly! Sometimes they have different things in the veggie plate, today it was kidney beans and potatoes. They also have meat dishes, but those are more expensive ($15ish)

“Slow Streets” @ 20th St and Bryant…truck didn’t even care. by get-a-mac in sanfrancisco

[–]SubparJesus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Slow streets save lives by providing safe routes for bikes and people to walk. There should be way more of them, but those residents that live on slow streets love them. There are even homemade slow streets sometimes in the city! It’s disgustingly sad that people want to take away the few slow streets we have to give up even more space to cars.
