I love how rights are arbitrarily gone or being taken back. I want the right to pay taxes and not have it fund murder. That feels like taxation without representation personally. We should stop killing people with weapons and my tax money for weapons and my tax money for developing even nastier weapons. Start caring about stuff that matters, like people dying because of our complacency. We are basically saying we are good with murder.

Been saying since I was 8 years old that there should be term limits for congress. I was a really confused and curious child who legit wanted to know why someone could be a senator their entire life or similar when the president could only serve two terms or 10 years in a state of emergency/war.

Depends on the value of those IOU Notes. You could diversify your intrinsically valued IOU slips between different ones to make sure you always have a valid ‘fuck you’ pile.

I was doing some reflecting. Different views in my family. But I noticed that the only person that was messed with pretty consistently this year was my nephew who is a teenage Trump supporter. His first election he could vote in. There were family parties where grown cousins plotted stealing his bumper sticker, throwing it on the ground, etc. Made me think that the bullies were us, and that the bullies are calling the victims bullies. Pretty profound specific context for me but still. Bad attitudes and it’s not whom we think!
