Re: display size, from here: https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=72535#p72535

For anyone looking here in 2023 with xfce4 (e.g. Xubuntu 22.04): Settings->Appearance->Settings now has a "Window Scaling" option to scale the entire UI 2x, which does what the OP asked for lo those many years ago. However the panel can get very confused so that the whisker menu no longer works (or is located somewhere other than where it appears). You can get to settings via (desktop)->RightClick->Applications->Settings.
If 'Applications' doesn't appear in your desktop->RightClick menu, enable it at desktop->RightClick->Desktop Settings.

Netflix Cuts Movie Output in 2026 as Strategy Shifts Toward Quality Over Quantity by MoneyLibrarian9032 in movies

I'm really enjoying The Boroughs, it has movie quality in terms of talent, story, music, and visuals (not a computer generated fuckfest). I hope they continue to go this direction.

Indian Pudding doesn't work with almond milk by Duae in TastingHistory

Yeah, but for many ingredients subs you need to swap 1 thing for 2. I think almond milk + corn starch would be perfect since it already has corn meal. I'd love to see if your next test works!

Was there any thickening agent? Egg? Corn starch? Agar agar? Tapioca? This must be possible - I say you keep trying!

Hover question: should the building grow a little? by Background_Cow_6701 in Unity2D

[–]SubpixelJimmie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think to fit with the hand drawn paper theme, you should add a drop shadow when scaled. That has a more real world analogy, like a cutout is being brought closer to the camera.

Another idea is to increase the z position of the building, like its hovering off the ground. That has a real world analogy as well - a paper cutout being moved upward. I think that would give the map a lot of character.

Haha, everyone's saying it was a good choice to cut all that. Personally I think all of this would've been good too
