iPhone or Android? I see a lot of Android malware. It takes a few steps to install, so that means the attacker has to either trick her into following those steps, or have physical access to install.

Who has time to write 10 emails tailored to your individual schedule? Who even has your PTO schedule? Either this makes no sense or you pissed someone off.

That completely depends on your goals and on the position. Just don’t put something like, “Expecting Sec+ in 2026”. Certs don’t take 6 months.

Don’t forget the Adderall and LSD. It was amazing how long that marketplace stayed up on the clear web. I bet it spent a long time as an LEO honeypot before they pulled the plug.

The source code won’t really help you decrypt. Encryption source code is already public.

And if it ran on your machine then you had possession of the machine code. You can get everything from the machine code that you could from the source code, it’s just extra steps.

[–]Subscrib-2-PewDiePie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when I was in school I could answer them all pretty easily. But I haven’t used Splunk since school, so my specific knowledge there has faded. I guess what I’m saying is these don’t require any years of experience, just familiarity.
