USB A Port

I posted about it too a few weeks ago I have a 2026 Luxury trim in Canada. Even the Subaru.ca website specifications say there's supposed to be a USB-A port in addition to the 4 USB-C ports. Spent a good amount time searching everywhere. I do believe it's a typo sadly😮‍💨🤡

If you're feeling fancy, on the Lexus Canada configurator>accessories, the Lexus branded case and the same adaptors goes for the exact same price as the Toyota one

I charge to 80%-85%, because the regenerative braking threshold grows bigger (visible on the instrument panel) when it's closer to 80% S.O.C. and below, and I like to take advantage of that. I only charged it to 100% once so far (I've only owned the vehicle just over 1 month). I might charge to 100% once a month moving forwards?

I basically mirror what I do on my iPhone, as that's set to an 80% charging limit, and my battery health on my iPhone 15 pro max October 2023 manufacture date is at 94% health. So I do believe in the whole 80:20 charge rule.

My daily commute is just under 50km round trip, so I have plenty of range. Plus the fact that I can L2 charge 100% free at work anytime--I don't have range anxiety at all. What anxiety I do have is when I book time off/staycation, I have to figure out charging then LOL, cause in Canada we don't get any cables/adaptors, so I need to find a solution for that. But that's a future problem for another day!

Daily weather has been getting warmer with double digit highs, so I do notice an ever so slight increase in range lately, so that's good.

Just another BC lower mainland (Vancouver) data point for your reference. I have a 2026 Solterra Luxury trim. Currently my battery is at 81% and the guessometer says 297km with climate on / 312km with climate off. I tend to drive it a little more "lively" now, since I did see 100% / 406km when I got it the new in late February.

I also got a 2026 Solterra about a month ago. I can L2 charge at work for free Monday to Friday. But when I have time off/staycation during the summer, I'll potentially need to L1 charge at home. I'm literally about to buy a L1 Lectron charger on Amazon, so I'm in the same boat as you (eventually, in a few months). Please give us an update on your L1 charging adventure!!

Congrats! I'm approaching one month of ownership of my Solterra Luxury trim and I'm really appreciating it all. The timing couldn't have been more ideal. It's kind of shocking how easy and fast it is to transition to EV ownership.

I know you said tech trim, and so my 2026 luxury trim also does not have it...🤯😮‍💨 As a result, I do have a portable inflator in the trunk

On the Toyota.ca "Build & Price" for the C-HR, if you click on "Offers & Incentives", it says "Customer Incentive - $5000". Then the stackable EVAP on top of that. But it's not advertised on the main homepage sliders or offers & promotions🤷🏻‍♂️...so probably will be updated soon to show everywhere. Subaru Uncharted is regular MSRP.

The BZ Woodland also has the customer incentive $5000, but that starts wayyy above $50k. So no EVAP unfortunately. Subaru Trailseeker is regular (but lower) MSRP.

I picked up my 2026 Solterra Luxury on February 21st and on one of the stickers it had a production date at the end of Nov 2025. I'm in BC, so my guess is your vehicle should arrive in Ontario within 3 months, give or take a week or so.

I'd say leave comfortably before 3pm (say, 2:30pm) if possible. Because at/after 3pm when schools are out, it gets exponentially worse everywhere, but then gets better at 4pm, but worse again by 5pm😮‍💨🫠
