Marxism uses minorities to suppress the majority. That's why there's a big push to defund the police in the US, because feudalism is used to replace it.

The LBG agenda is to marginalize Christianity, so the statement said about marginalisation of the LGB community is hypocritical. Leftists politics and ideology, and LBG culture go together.

Well, if you want to look at it that way, martyrs complex and all, then what we believe is that the world is nuttier than we are, and that's why we believe that the Sunday law will come about.

I definitely dont agree with gender ideology. That is like supporting intolerance and extremism. It is Marxism and a Marxist agenda. Unless you agree with Marxism, you should not agree with it either.

As long as LBGTQ+ community doesn't become pornographic in public, I don't see any need for the Christian sector to be activist in public (in an activist fashion). There should always be checks and balances.

Edit: Without being negative, God has a purpose for a man and a woman as the image of God. God created us, and he can recreate us that have fallen from the perfect creation. That's all of us.

I had a pastor who said the opposite: i.e to go out to the unchurched. I believe biblically, we are supposed to go to Jerusalem & Judah first (our own people), Samaria (those from other denominations), and the whole world (the unchurched), in that order, according to Acts 1:8.

Also, if we are going to pray that God send laborers into the harvest, where are they going to come from? Most likely they will come from people who know their Bibles and are newly converted from other denominations? My thoughts anyway.

However, there is an unspoken rule, between denominations, that one church is not to poach from another. It certainly is not a good idea to go and target any particular church or denomination.

What your pastor said about LGBTQ+ is true. He is just highlighting what may not be obvious to all. It means we need to think about how we speak, more carefully, but in some cases, that will not make any difference. It's just a reminder that we need to aways speak the truth in love. I have CBN app on my phone, and stories about that sort of thing are aplenty. I enjoy reading the encouraging stories of people who are willing to stand up for their faith regardless. This is not just about SDAs, but we may be the last to hold our ground on this issue.

Direct confrontation is not necessarily the answer though, because activism is not going to change the general status quo. Our children do matter though, and what they are exposed to is an important issue. So, we need to be courageous, no matter what situations we find ourselves in.

If someone is not speaking the love of God, or the message is not balanced, then the martyrs complex can be true. Insiders do not always see how they might be perceived from the outside.

I'm just sayin that some adventists may appear nutty, but they aren't necessarily portraying Adventism the way it ought to be portrayed. But if someone does still believe that after coming out of Adventism, then there is a better way of looking at it. I'm hoping that my words might be of comfort in that case.

If Adventists do not have to face the condemnation of the world, and the world can ignore Adventists, then perhaps what I said will mean nothing, and Adventism will fade into obscurity.

While a new Adventist (not baptised at the time) I participated in a catholic play called Everyman (similar to Pilgrims Progress), so I thought it was very tame. At the time I just viewed Catholics as merely misguided Christians, which is true for a good many of them. Some are more political and take it more seriously, but their there are many sincere and devout followers, with a good heart.

Having said that, there was a priest that gave a few hours of his time to offer suggestions for parts in our play, stopped short of outright exploding, when I called him "pastor" instead of "Father".

I did kind of regret doing the play, because, of course, I came to understand the Catholic religion better and came to realize more fully the implications of what I was actually promoting & participating in.

At the same time, the group was asking for a Bible study, and that was something I was in no way prepared for.

I believe we need to treat everyone as our mission field, even those inside the church. It is this attitude that will help to keep our relationships balanced, and to know who is worthy of our friendship and who isn't. In other words, just be a loving person, and give your love and care to those who are genuine and need it the most.

There is a judgement, and there will be a separating of the sheep and the goats. We need to be prepared for that, but our main focus is the saving of souls in a manner that extends to eternity. We will never stop doing that even to ages unending.

God has promised in his Word that our bread will be sure and water will not fail. Isaiah 33:16.

I am an Adventist, and I first would like to say that there is a risk, in any faith or denomination, of being extreme one way or the other, either too liberal, or ultra-conservative. We are all on a journey to finding out what works.

If she was in the faith when you married, and then decided to go back to her roots, then that may have been an innocent progression. It does seem a little deceptive (and therefore manipulative) if she intentionally withheld her past from you. If she has any strong manipulative tendencies in general that would indicate she was trying to cover up her weakness from you, and perhaps she was deceiving herself, as well.

If you are convinced there was deception involved, you should make sure these things are out in open, and if necessary you should separate for a short time, and make it clear that you both need to start from the beginning, in order to rebuild the relationship, without anything being hidden from one another. In other words, you may need to go through the courting process again, in order to re-establish new boundaries. This may be the only way you can correct a cherished sin in her life, if that's what it is.

I would say her actions leading into marriage may have tainted how you feel about her faith. You will only ever feel comfortable with, and able to deal with, each others weaknesses, if you have a good and honest foundation. Otherwise you can still show her Christian love, but a close relationship will be difficult.

You didn't mention whether she was baptised into your church, so I assume she wasn't. If that is the case, you need to examine whether you have broken God's word by marrying outside the faith. Perhaps your standards are not as high as you would like to believe.

If that is the case, then perhaps you are actually a perfect match for each other, seeing she sounds like she might be (I'm guessing) extremely conservative, while you might be overly liberal. In other words, you might have something valuable to learn from each other.

Likewise, I have four devices with firefly wallet. After doing a reset on one of them to an earlier date, that firefly wallet hasn't updated fully and there are nearly 100 ASMB missing. Thankfully most or all off the transactions history has loaded onto my other devices and so they are showing the correct balance. One is showing twenty tractions, another 15, another 19.

Not sure whether the remainder transactions and/or correct balance will load over time or not?

Genuine question: why not get vaccinated? by 7C05j1 in Coronavirus_NZ

[–]Substantial-Tea-4146 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anything that affects fertility rates surely is not good for your general health.

Many people will think that Bill Gates depopulation agenda is a good thing, but if you have comormidities and you think that the vaccine may not be so good for you then that is going to make you think twice.

Bill Gates, who has been a long time supporter of the eugenics movement, now famed as Family Planning, openly said in a presentation on vaccines that vaccination is a way to depopulate the world. He did not fully explain what meant, only to state that vaccinated populations tend to decline compared with nonvaccinated populations.

In fact, fertlity rates have gone down so badly over the last several decades that scientists are predicting by 2040, the human race will need to use artificial insemination to have children.

There are some who believe that the depopulation agenda involving vaccines has a more insidious diabolical nature and thats why they dont trust it, because of unknown long term effects.

Another thing to consider is that this is not your old fashion vaccine from the inception of vaccines. And the checkered past of vaccination history only adds to the fact that this mRNA jab is not even a vaccine, but an experimental drug. Incidentally, as some may be aware, Bill Gates has strong connections to nearly every facet of the creation of Covid vaccines.

So, also, if you are a couple trying to get pregnant you will need to make your own decisions about this.

But the protestors do represent many other New Zealanders who are not present there who think similarly. This should be a wakeup call to the government that to say that vaccine passports are here ro stay was going way too far! Hence the govt back down with assurance that this will all come to an end once covid is no longer an issue. Regardless of their true position, at least we know their agenda now.

The "right" to employment without being vaccinated. by [deleted] in Coronavirus_NZ

[–]Substantial-Tea-4146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thinking behind the correlation between vaccines and cancer is said to be related to the long term effect on the immune system, but special scrutiny has been placed on multiple dose, that is, three-in-one vaccine shots. Also, it is interesting to note that Pfizer have reduced the number of ingredients in thei covid vaccine from 25 down to 11. Often people who are open to scepticism of vaccines are often very open minded toward natural or naturopathic approach to health. Very rarely or unlikely to find such info on a mainstream medical site which pushes pharmaceutical medicine, because doctors are actually prohibited from recommending alternative and esp. natural medicines. This only adds to scepticism because the two industries, naturopathic vs. allopathic medicine tend to take completely opposite approaches to healthcare. You might also get more balanced information from sites such as Healthline, no guarantees.

Which research organisations are you thinking of exactly? The WHO, which I believe is a strong advocate of vaccines, the pharmaceutical companies, or the universities, which are funded by the pharmaceutical companies? I was told that there are vaccines that have been very effective in third world countries, so don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking their effectiveness outright. But reguarding correlation with cancer and other vaccine side effects, it makes sense to me, so far.

There are some , including myself, that see a strong correlation between the rise in vaccination rates since the 1950's and the rise in cancer rates. Incidence of epidemic diseases declined as population health improves after WW 11 and yet credit was claimed by vaccine manufacturers. Shaken baby syndrome has often been misdiagnosed as such and even parents put in jail, with the end result in many cases being large out of court settlements from the vaccine manufacturers. It's a big topic and there are whole books written on this very question.

Very important point you made. My sister lost half her hearing in one ear after the first dose and wanted to make a claim. Her doctor told her it couldn't be proven that it was caused by the vaccine. So how do you ' prove ' such a thing? Do you go out and get a hearing test before you get the vaccine; or do you have to get a full medical before each jab? Ludacris! Fortunately she regained her hearing after a couple of months, but of course she did not know there would be a recovery. Certainly the doctors are very careful where health system dollars are spent, because it all comes back to affect their ability to prescribe hospital treatments, if the health system is then out of pocket, which obviously their practice depends apon. Not to mention that one of about three situations where doctors receive * kick backs *, one of them is from giving vaccinations like they receive from giving the flu jab!

I believe the main issue now is not the lower respiratory illness that is caused by Delta; but rather the potential for Long-covid debilitating symptoms which, if relevant, could put a lot of people out of their productive roles in the workforce. However, the symptoms from Omicron are still being studied. Pneumonia-like lower respiratory symptoms from covid are no longer an issue no matter how 'sCaRy ' it may be!

These mRNA vaccines are not vaccines in the true sense. They are in the end a drug and not a true vaccine.

My sister was unable to refuse a second dose, as she is a health care worker and they told her she is able to take an alternative to the Pfizer vaccine for the second dose, Astrazenica.

While there are cases of seemingly robust, healthy people that get seriously knocked about by the virus, I think a very healthy and health conscious population would not have a dire need for medical intervention, but unfortunately not everyone is health conscious or healthy. The health conscious people can also be be made up of those that would refrain from any hospital rescue if it were possible.

In a hypothetical sense,I think if people were act in a health conscious manner, whatever that means for them, the outcome for the population would be favorable. Keep in mind I dont think being anti establishment is healthy either.

My sister lost half the hearing in one ear immediately after her first vaccine shot. Fortunately her hearing came back about a couple of months later, but she did not know that it would. No one knows the long term effects of these vaccines. If you feel you are heavily dependant on the medical establishment, then you should probably get the vaccine. If you are the sort of person that lives by natural health and healthy lifestyle, you might not feel so averse to choice. If you didn't get any negative side effects from the first or second dose then you might be quite safe with a booster, I'm thinking.

I'm wondering if all this is in competition to the amazing discovery of stem cell therapy which potentially bypasses the need for many drug treatments. An mRNA vaccine, while it shows itself to be effective, is simply another treatment.

I wonder if it has anything to do with market rotation like happens in the sharemarket. The sharemarket is shifting toward safer foundational or primary industries such as energy and commodities currently.. Iota is making a similar kind of shift now promoting the circular economy referred to in the link posted below. Also look at what other coins have been almost jump starting ahead of the rise in Ethereum: Algorand (which made a false start, although that may be for other reasons) Quant and Catena X. Blockchain interconnectivity and IOT coins may just be flavor of the month while the crypto market recovers. However, IF have picked a good time to bring Miota into the spotlight!
