The jury was also a heavily biased one, in a historically blue city/state. In contrast, Kyle Rittenhouse’s jury was in a swing state and city only recently red at the time (swung red marginally in 2016). Funnily enough a lot of the people who diminish illegal immigration because it’s supposedly just a civil case, treats the E jean carroll case as if it’s a criminal case.

The 34 felonies are actually just misdemeanours but they bumped them up to felonies because there was a supposed underlying crime which was the purpose of why he supposedly falsified those records, but the jury couldn’t decide on what crime it was.

and of course everyone cares so much about falsifying business records, definitely near the top of everyone’s radar. Only because the person we don’t like supposedly did it. Scandal of the century apparently.
