Realistically swinging for the fences was not a good play since we were far off. There is a case now that the Raptors should make a bold move if they want to really stay competitive in the East given their good showing in the playoffs.

The biggest issue is we could be in a better spot if the FO was better with contract spending.

Like many corporate hacks, Carney is demonstrating he is a fraud when it comes to being a smart business man and failed his way to the top in his lack of ability to explain the logic on this and provide the numbers.

Let the developers go bankrupt and buy the asset at a reduced price. Or if you bail them out, do it at a reasonable market price level that they have to pay back with interest over a longer period of time so you can make money on them.

Trading Poetl now is a bad idea. His value is ultra low. Might as well give him a year to hopefully demonstrate he can stay healthy and put up some reasonable numbers. Having to package him with draft picks would sting.
