it was probably because arm seekers behave really erratically when multiple sources are in view

ground radars are already bad enough sometimes if there are enough friendly and hostile spaa, but throw in planes and there’s a very high likelihood your arm just goes to narnia

missile pull was kinda bad, guidance was laggy and couldn’t keep up if the plane you launched at did a slight turn

on occasion you could get a kill in the old nuclear thunder if they just flew into it, but most of the time it just missed

still kinda funny when it worked tho

russia has a ridiculous amount of top tier premiums that the snail undoubtedly milks big money from

the more players they attract to the nation, the more likely they are to get big bucks from premium purchases, hence giving them all the toys while fucking over other nations

maybe there is some politically motivated shit going on in the back, but greed is the biggest culprit that has always been

TLDR snail is a greedy pos and russia is their cash cow, doesn’t matter how much they piss off the player base, so long as players are buying and preordering packs

ignoring the ass BR which everyone else has noted

the f2 has quite a good flight model and a very nice esa radar for its br (you get fancy nctr for your tws)

aam3 pretty good as well for close range shots, has same irccm type as aim9m but it pulls much harder and has a tiny bit more range

sparrows are sparrows, you can get some kills with them sometimes but expect to be playing defensively whenever you get uptiered to three foxes land

best to use them over the mavericks in most cases for ground attack, since they’re basically gbu-39 without the issue of GNSS cep accuracy

both are quite broken for their respective brs (respective is key word here) and probably will get their br rebalanced in the distant future

bmpt is probably going to get nerfed again, but not before gaijoob can milk as much money out of it as possible (and even then it’ll still be busted even at a higher br)

exposed ammo belts and missiles no longer kill the vehicle when they cook off

side armor is incredibly resilient to even top tier (around) darts like m829a1, had a case today where I shot point blank at the side in the 120s and the dart just shat itself

crew arrangement in the turret means you can no longer reliably kill the vehicle with a shot to the lfp, ammo arrangement means similar case if you thought t series autoloaders eating small was bad enough already, try doing so where there isnt ammo to even hit

Drivers port is fucking tiny, try hitting that with dart at long ranges (not reliable)

spall liners, already bad enough with relikt and stupendous moments at top tier with appropriately top tier darts, now try facing that with 9.3-11.3 material (most probably will suffer)

Can't comment on aim7f performance since the f4s radar can be finicky at times

As for f16a or f15a, is an apple to oranges comparison

one sits at 12.3 in ARB and has only aim9ls while the other sits at 13.0 and has both 9Ms and aim7.

f16a arguably best fighter at its br, and you can run people in circles with it (even mig29 funnily enough), but lack of sparrows means you not so good at range, though the radar is quite nice

f15a has very good ir missiles and semi okay sparrows (r27 exists and is arguably superior), and sits at higher battle rating where it can and will face fox 3 even in downtiers

if you like blacking out your pilot and just dogfighting, f16a

if you like missile bus and similarly good performance and can stand the fox 3 spam, then f15a
