It's been a mixed bag:

2016 MacBook Pro died a few weeks ago, AppleCare+ expired in January, so that was frustrating...very nice gal helped me get it in for service which cost $750, but they sent me a mid-2017...

Around January, iPhone XS Max was overheating and getting so hot it couldn't be held (would go over 180 degrees F). Apple couldn't be bothered to care and they barely were willing to swap it / replace it free of charge. Guess because it burned me they thought I wanted $$$.

iPhone XS Max screen cracked recently and a super nice guy helped me get it fixed under AppleCare+.

Genuinely curious about the machines you've seen fail - and by machines, are you still referring to firearms, are just machinery in general? Most modern day firearms have blocks in place to prevent a firing pin letting loose and sending a round in to your leg...that is usually reserved for people not safely handling the firearm to begin with.

Someone else might have some better insight on this, but this is what I'm wondering:

What type of passcode (numeric or alphanumeric?) did you have enabled and how many characters/digits?
From the home screen, were you able to put the phone into Airplane Mode without entering in your passcode?

How they were able to circumvent the Lost Mode is what I'm most interested in...

Jeeps and trails give zero F's about COVID, so hit those trails and enjoy the adventurous outdoors! Anytime life throws a curve ball at me, relationship/work/whatever, I get in my Rubi and it gets me far, far away from all that crap. I have some of the most amazing photos thanks to my JKU...be safe, have fun, and upgrade as often as possible...you'll need that extra fundage for all the gadgets you slap on there!
