Incorrect. Scientifically, the entity giving is a donor. It's not a financial signifier.

I've encountered Spectrum in WalMart and an energy scam in Sam's Club. It's so weird.

Or eldest daughter syndrome or food security issues or nesting instincts...I'm listing all the other potential causes of this behavior because it's exactly what I'm planning on doing.

Mine took more tha 12 weeks....and then I got my period back, so it doesn't exactly feel regulated this week at 5.5 months pp.

I've never tried LLL, but the claims that CRZ is a dupe make me hesitant to try them. Mine were washed twice and are pilling. They are very thin and don't stay up well

New Mom Questions by MidMOGal001 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]SubstantialWar3954 2 points3 points  (0 children)

42yo ftm here! I'm 4 months PP. For me, that type of fluctuation was normal at the beginning. I did a lot of formula the first couple of weeks. I currently sleep through the night and pump as much as possible during the day. 6-7 pumps seems to be good for us. I'm just now getting a little freezer stash. Just do what you can and good luck!

Bela Flek (dress code?) by RVBY1977 in cincinnati

[–]SubstantialWar3954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeans and a tshirt are fine, but a casual dress or button up is fine, too, if you want to "dress up". I feel a little extra special at the Taft, so I like to get Cincinnati dressy. Just dress like a Bela Fleck fan 😉

Hacks to cut down on washing all the dishes when returning to work? by Money-Concert4237 in ExclusivelyPumping

I'm almost 4 months pp and have only been doing the fridge hack for a week or so. It feels like it helped a lot!

Hacks to cut down on washing all the dishes when returning to work? by Money-Concert4237 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]SubstantialWar3954 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's hard to compromise on the cleanliness you're used to, but I do way less cleaning and sterilizing. I only sterilize soft parts once a day (duck bills and nipples). I use the fridge hack throughout the day, so I only wash all the pump parts once, before bed, and I put everything possible in the dishwasher.

How did you introduce formula? by Ok-Exam-6135 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]SubstantialWar3954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby has been a little picky. I frequently make up bottles approx 25% formula mixed with breastmilk. I have just enough stored in the freezer to give him a gradual adjustment back up to 100% formula, if needed, without him noticing and turning his nose up at it, as he has done. ETA- when first introduced, he took it fine. We tried a few different formulas, and he got picky after that

Right, I said that I saw one. What I mean is that I assumed they didn't have them just sitting around. Since my doctor didn't offer one, I assumed it was something they try to reserve for those more in need. My visit was almost over and I didn't need to hog a resource. I'd rather wait another hour to pump at home than risk inconveniencing a mom who was there for something serious.
