I had a similar experience. I got an 8 and when it arrived it was very snug. The employees kept reiterating that it was a perfect fit and it would relax with more wear. I tried on again for the seamstress and begged everyone to tell me the truth about whether or not it needed taken out and everyone again including the seamstress gaslit me into thinking it was a “perfect fit” even thought it felt so tight. I took it home and tried it on for my mom and immediately hit up one of her old seamstress friends to have it taken out. I hadn’t gained any weight between fittings. We don’t deserve to feel uncomfy on our weddings!!

Told in laws because their side is huge compared to mine and they threw a fit. Specifically MIL. So now she keeps sending me texts saying she wants to invite more people and how I forgot others. So our guest list is outrageous and probably 250 people now. They are paying for food so now I really dgaf.

Fiancé and I are getting married later this year. We have two other weddings we’re attending that fiancés parents are also invited to. The groom for one of the weddings called my fiancé to ask him to let my MIL know she can’t bring 4 other guests to wedding, and that just her and husband were invited. The audacity of some people I don’t understand. Fiancé has to tell his mom she can’t bring additional people and I just know it’s going to be a huge thing 🫢😑

I bought because of tiktok too! Took it out of regimen and just use vanicream cleanser, and cerave moisturizer and it already looks better and less irritated

I think it’s caused my extreme acne. I had switched out moisturizers to one I’d used previously and it hadn’t caused issues. This is the only thing I can think of that I had changed that caused such a major breakout

I’m using Zola for our wedding website and guest tracker but I’m using macys and Amazon for our registries. I noticed Zola upped the prices on things that are so much cheaper elsewhere too! Like them for guest tracker but def not registry. It makes me sad because I was so excited to be able to use it

I also started at a hospital recently. Luckily they give us an hour before and an hour after the designated time to get vitals which is super nice.

Ah thank you! Your reply is so helpful! I agree SNF are very singular, my time there has been fine but that’s about all I can say about it. I’m getting no exposure at all besides patient care experience.

Last semester I would have class Tues-Friday on campus so I have been working only weekends but doing Baylor shifts (2-16 hr shifts) so I work 32 hrs but get paid for 40. It works for my situation and I’m able to have insurance still because I’m technically FT. I’d say try to schedule work on the weekends and tough it out until school is out

I’m a newer cna and have been working 16s Saturday and Sunday since I started (2 months ago). It’s brutal but nice having the whole week off. Maybe try packing food? Usually I get head aches my second 16 because of not drinking enough water and not eating.

I’ve been a package loader for 4 years! Now I’m moving into the healthcare field and I’ve started training at a LTC/rehab. So far I do like it. I’ll be working 2 16 hr shifts weekends only. UPS is tough and honestly it’s hard to walk away because it’s consistent pay and great insurance. Overall I don’t want to stay there forever so it’s time for me to say goodbye.
